I also find it 'halerious' how Madman gets wound up so much by the fact that I like PES and how he takes objection to the fact that i've commented about PES in a PES thread. Hmmm, yeah real good moderating that Robert.

Anyway has anyone imported their own soundtrack yet? I've just finished putting a crap load of my songs into the game and it works fine. You have to make a playlist called 'KONAMI_PES' and then you're good to go.

Still haven't played BAL yet; i'm enjoying the Champions League mode instead for now. It's an added bonus that I can play as Everton which is something I didn't expect when I bought the game.

One slight problem with the game however is that i'm playing on Proffesional for now and i've had 4 corners and scored with a header from all 4 of them. I'm hoping it's just beginner's luck.

What are you blaming me for? I think it's the best football game out there. You're the one who just HAS to try and prove that statement wrong all the time. I don't argue with you when you say FIFA is the best because you're well within your rights to say so. I disagree with it but do I challenge it? No. You just need to accept the fact that the world's not perfect and not everyone will find FIFA to be the premier football game in the market similar to way in which people won't feel the same way about PES either.

We aren't turning this into a PES vs FIFA debate; it's just members like myself, Gas and Pingusten having a chat about PES09. It's only when you come along and start stiring things up when things start going wrong. And then you have the audacity to then try and calm the arguments that you yourself started.

We know you don't like PES, so why do you keep wasting your time browsing a PES thread?

And for the record, it's not just me saying which game I think is the best football game in this thread either;

FIFA obviously now have the leadership over football

I would give my opinion, but im bored of Fifa Vs Pes, i like both, that's why i bought both. I prefer Pes, for its better gameplay, but i still like fifa and i will still play it. However i have had fifa for a while now, and the new game effect has vanished. Pes is a day old, hence i am enjoying it a lot.

Matt and Pingstun you have to try vertical camera, its hard, but my god if you master it, its so rewarding. :cool: I was just playing stoke, they had 2 men sent off, i was winning 2-1 but they scored in stopage time. Its kinda hard to defend in vertical cam because the camera angle changes, so suddenly up become up and right etc, but its bloody good fun. Lamps put drogba in through on goal, the camera was positioned right behind drogs, mid sprint i pushed R2 and drilled it into the bottom right corner as i was running up and left. A beauty.

To be fair, I found corners pretty difficult on Top Player on the demo, and I cant imagine it will have changed. I usually whip them into to either the far or near post, or try long hanging ones. I've never scored 4 on the trot, but maybe it is different in the final...

Although I have to say, I reckon if everyone was like that then we'd have heard about it already.

No surprise at all that it's a Fifa fan that's labeling everyone fanboys and starting a needless discussion as always. Not to mention, the irony of them not even having the game yet feeling they have the jurisdiction to write a full review

Matt about that corner thing, i have been playing on Top Player, because i found previous Pes games rather easy, and im so used to the game that i just start on Top Player. ( i dont mean this to sound arrogant, or im some sort of super pes player, far from the truth)

Generally, and early on i found scoring from corners really hard. However if you push R2 then you can control your player whilst the ball is in the air, so you can position yourself better to receive the header. However, the cpu uses this also, to great effect on their corners, so its really just a battle of who juudges it best. Of course, when its your corner you can aim for a player, you aim it just a tad short and then move forward at the last minute to connect. This definitely improves your chances, although i still find its pot luck at times.

Im sure you know this anyway, but just thought i would voice my view....

Hopefully, the demo will be on PC Gamer this month, so I won't have to waste 500mb of download (or however much it is). You can play 'Be A Legend' on the demo, can't you? That's the feature I'm most interested in.

I know you are talking about me, so:

1) I'm not a FIFA fan, I am a football fan who plays video games.
2) I've not labelled anyone a fanboy
3) I don't want the full game as the demo put me off the game completely as it seemed so unrealistic to me, and nobody has said the full game is drastically different to the demo.

You say that you want to stop the Fifa vs Pes disscusion yet your continous post simply provoke the subject :
