A lot of pressure now on Hall and Van Jaarsveld. Van Wyk had got off to a good start and will be kicking himself for throwing his wicket away.

Very important knock from Van Jaarsveld. If he stays out in the middle the A's are a chance of getting near the lead. Top story mate.

JAARSVELD PROVIDES HOPE

Martin van Jaarsveld has struck a critical half century in an attempt to save the A side from a large first innings deficit. Jaarsveld has taken the attack up to the bowlers after getting his eye in and will be a key wicket to take in Pakistan's bid for a good first innings lead. The next 10 overs are crucial ones for both teams...

AKHTAR STRIKES TWICE FOR PAKISTAN

Shoaib Akhtar is proving just how much of an influence he can be after taking two wickets in a single over to leave the A side reeling at 8/220. After a considerable partnership between Adams and Jaarsveld things were looking a little brighter on the South African side, that was until Shoaib roared in. Jaarsveld was first bowled for 77 trying to drive a pitched up delivery. Langeveldt was in and then gone, getting his off stump tickled up a great off cutter from the Rawalpindi express...

A?S ON THEIR LAST LEGS

Paul Adams is the latest man to be back in the pavillion as the innings draws to a close. This time it was Danish who struck, drawing the lower order batsmen forward into driving at a pitched up delivery. The ball spun onto the outside edge and was taken cleanly up by wicket keeper Kamran Akmal...

END OF DAY 3 ? SFA INNINGS ENDS IN THE LAST OVER

South Africa will begin the day bowling tomorrow after loosing their final wicket in the last over of the day. Dale Steyn played at a wide delivery from Razzaq which induced a thick outside edge that was taken at knee height by Akhtar away at 3rd slip. Pakistan now has a lead of 42 runs as they begin their second innings...

Good presenation C60!

The A's are doing better than I thought they would, maybe the Pakistanis underestimated a little bit.

The Sith Efricans aren't doing to bad for a second rate side. If the Paki's dont put on some big runs in this innings and win the match then they might want to consider taking up another sport.
