Pakistan's batting is dreadful, minus Alam at the moment. Noone else has been even close to consistent.

I felt rusty had a decent first game. Had one poor over in the powerplay but came back really well with those 2 overs at the end, think he only conceded 9 in them. Had albie or langeveld been bowling pakistan would have won.

Fielding was good for most part but poor when under pressure.

Morne was good except for the powerplay, he really needs to work on that.

Hashim Amla's ODI record just keeps getting better and better. He's probably the most dangerous short form batsman in the world at the moment - 5 ODI centuries this year! To beat South Africa you really have to get him out early.

Ah, thats gonna leave a sting. Should have taken the game from where we were at one stage. Farhat was just too amazing. His exciting strokeplay will make sure he plays the next game.

I reckon Akmal should be back and we should take out Farhat. Get Younis to open, its only for the time being, till Kamran gets back. Farhat should not be any close to our world cup plans.

At the current match situation, the idea was for him to get say 50 off 40ish, and bring the required run rate down.

Seriously, how often is Afridi going to contribute properly? You can't rely on him or Razzaq, they pretty much turn up when they feel like it.

In this team, you could open with him. Hafeez is practically just there as a bowler anyway.

I don't think those three are coming back. I will also not include Moyo in our ODI team. He is not fit enough and is a liability on the field. Pakistan will have to do without the above four.

For world crickets sake, i hope Aamir & Asif are proven not guilty & come back. PAK have strong bowling attack with those two leading it are key components in revival of quality pace attacks worldwide.

On Moyo, fitness may be a worry with him yea. But none of your young bats i've seen in the last year who are supposedly fitted are good enough to keep him out of the team based on batting ability id say.

Pakistan have done decently in this match till now, Smith is fially back in some runs. Good for him, he can regain his form from this match.

Ingram played brialliantly this series, what a debut it is turning out to be. God for SA.

If anyone scores big they can do it. 275 is a chase you can manage with quite a lot of slow scoring efforts and by mere weight of wickets in hand at the end.
