South Africa vs Zimbabwe & Pakistan, October-November 2010/11

South Africa had this match in bag from the time they scored a massive 317, there was surely no hope for Pakistan but kudos to them they shown some great fight.

A well deserved MOS to Amla, that guy has been playing absolutely brilliant cricket from past year. Congratulation SA.

Also Akmal's becoming too common in Pakistan and he is a third brother and a keeper too. Another bad keeper I suppose.

The greatest one of the three? We will call him Super King!

Actually now I think about it, Clobberella and Captain Yesterday are fairly apt names for Umar and Kamran Akmal.

I will seriously be pissed to see Sami play again for Pakistan. I think Selector are waiting for his average to reach 100 before he is finally scrapped :facepalm. Also if Hafeez is playing we should drop Ajmal and play Umar Gul. I expect the ball to reverse and we need Umar Gul when the ball is old. If they go with only two pacers, I don't see them taking twenty wickets against a very strong and inform batting line up.

Well looks like Pakistan is going in with only two seamers. Good not to see Sami and Farhat in there.

I just saw Adnan's Akmal's First class record and he only averages 21 with the bat. Definitely selected for reasons other than merit.

From the cricinfo commentary, it seems the new Akmal fits right into the family tradition of horrible keeping. His first act in test cricket: fluffing a stumping off Abdur Rehman. :facepalm

Also it seems Daryl Harper was Pakistan's main problem in the first morning, denying what was apparently a certain caught-behind against Peterson and a couple of close-call LBWs against Smith.

So there is no referral system in this series? Both of these umpires are crap and less said about the bloody akmals, the better.

I just had a look at the edge that Harper failed to see. I wonder when would ICC start investigating umpires involved in such dubious decisions.

He has amazing concentration. I hope he sticks around for a big score today and tomorrow.

This is an easy pitch to bat on and Pakistan's bowling is not the best. Also Harper is there to lend a little assist or two. Amla should easily cross 200.
Oops he is gone.
