GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Entertaining matches ahead.

In one way, yes. Barcelona always win those. It would be nice if Real wins a match.

I was actually half joking about that but yeah, as you said, Barcelona have completely dominated the recent clashes and also the fact that they have played each other so many times this year.

That's because they are two best teams in Europe right now, so basically end up facing each other sooner rather than later.

We've got a tougher game to get through before that. Malaga surely will pose a bigger challenge than Osasuna.

Also possible in the QFs: Catalan derby, Valencian derby and Basque derby

Saw Euskadi's game against Tunisia a few days back and even though they lost (both goals against the run of play) I must say it was a very impressive performance, especially from Xabi Alonso. Llorente and Javi Martinez weren't playing.

Malaga have two away goals which means 1-0 or 2-1 win is enough for them. However considering the way we fought back last week to win the tie on the night, and also looking at Mou and the player's press conferences, it is pretty clear that we are going all out.

Both the Malaga goals were what they call 'chance' strikes. They did play well in the first half, but it wasn't domination or anything. Ofcourse they didn't need to, considering it was at the Bernabeu.

I think we'll hit them hard and am going for a 3-1 victory on the night after going 3-0 up. 6-3 on aggregate.

Barcelona playing a 3-4-3 formation again tonight,
Leaving pique and Alves on the bench, seems a really unusual way for them to play, they keep 3 at the back at all times instead of just 2 when they play 4 defenders as the full backs end up playing as wingers, it's less defenders but more defensive.
Saying that it's 2-0 after 15 minutes :p

Its a shame really that the Clasico is happening in the QF stage. Whats also funny is that both teams were not at their best during the weekend.

Regardless as Xavi says, there will never be a case for lack of motivation or intensity in a Clasico. I don't like playing at home first to be honest and we have to ensure not to concede too many to stand a chance at Camp Nou. Di Maria's chance of playing stands at 50-50, and his absence/presence could be crucial in the final outcome over the two legs.

Barcelona have been playing the 3-4-3 as a standard formation now, and its won its fair share of criticism as well as praise. I personally believe we have a better opportunity to score against that formation but at the same time can be hit on the break more often since they have at times 6 attacking players (Messi, Alexis, Alves, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas)

Epic comeback from Espanyol last night. Ofcourse want the Mirandes fairy tale to continue (which still might happen since they have two away goals) but you have to give to Pocchetino and the Espanyol players there. Unbelievable.

Cracking game of football, agreed the refereeing was suspect, but scoring 3 goals after trailing 2-0 for 84 minutes, is just incredible.

Tonight we play Barca at the Bernabeu. Hope we don't give away too many away goals. I am going for a 2-0 or 3-1 in our favour. Ronaldo to finally score!

I'm sorry, but how many more times are Madrid supposed to eat humble pie when they face Barca? Always! :D

Just seen the Pepe incidents involving

1. him stamping Messi's hands and
2. him doing a Busquets in diving and making a meal out of a nothing challenge from Cesc.

What a disgrace he is!

Real seriously need a good defender. Pepe is always aggressive, too much I think.
