Fernando Llorente has scored 5 goals in the last 4 days. Fernando Torres has scored 5 goals in the last 9 months.

Hope Del Bosque knows which Fernando to take to Euro 2012.

Not a popular opinion at the moment but I really hope Torres goes to the Euros. I still have faith in him to come good. If he actually gets decent service at Chelsea then the goals will return.

He's so underestimated imo. Didn't he come closer to a Man United move in 2008? Definitely deserves a better team to play in.

Well he has been linked with both Madrid and Barca since then. I am sure if Benzema had found his form in the second half of last season, we would have been looking at Llorente to replace the frenchman. Different types of players though.

Having said that, Athletic have grown leaps and bounds, especially under Bielsa and they have got some of the finest Spanish youngsters. They will finish top four this season, and I expect them to continue improving under Bielsa. Llorente can spearhead that "movement".

would be one heck of a day when higuain and benzema start together. 4-2-3-1 just doesn't do justice to those strikers. Mou tried with two strikers upfront recently, can't remember which game. It had Kaka, Ozil, Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Xabi starting. just can't remember. but wow.

I'd love to see Ozil and Kaka play together more. Their link up play is fantastic. But then that leaves the question of where does Di Maria fit in, who has been superb this season as well.

Yup Di Maria was probably our best player (not considering Cristiano) till he picked up that injury. Ozil had a poor-ish start to the season but is right now immense for us. Kaka has had good and bad games and I think right now he is the most probable to sit on the bench considering the form Ozil is in and Di Maria was in.

Regarding the two strikers, I don't think thats needed when you are playing Ronaldo. If the situation demands, bring it on, but Benzema and Higuain have done well this season, and Mou has utilised/rotated them perfectly.

It'll be a 7-point lead taking into account Barca will beat Madrid at the Nou Camp.

Now I want to witness another pasillo, this time at the Nou Camp.

No but seriously we still can't afford any slip ups as there are still 16 games left in the season, including that six pointer at the Nou Camp.

wow, what a match. Kaka didn't get subbed, he was so fast today. Sub-ins are comeback stars, Di maria is looking stronger than ever, and what a strike to setup the 3rd goal. Good to see Carvalho and Khedira back.

But particularly Di Maria, look at what he can do in the wing, brilliant dribbling and pace thru the box.

Ramos was brilliant again, and Ronaldo couldn't seem to get his shots over flat, his reactions indicate that as well.

All in all a great game, 13 points clear and Barca have dived into a whirlpool they are yet to get out of, especially with Valencia to play which is going to be some ask.
