Who will win the La Liga this season?

Apparently Ronaldo has become the first player ever to score against every La Liga side - including Real Madrid. Remarkable.

Yeah there is always a chance they'll start telling him he has Barca DNA, then his international team mates will put a Barca shirt on him:rolleyes.

They did the same to Modric, way before Fabregas. Yet he ended up at Madrid.

Funny isn't it?.. One mistake and all his achievements turn vile for a moment. But I expected him to save that own goal for the United game. :D

At least Luka's international teammates didn't put a Barca shirt on him.

If Madrid keep up this form, Man Utd might have reason to be worried in the second leg.

Messi & Xavi has noticeably gone missing in the last two big games for Barca. Not often you see that. Xavi being substituted was an eye opener, i wonder when last that happened in a serious game for Barca.

I'm pretty sure Man U already have plenty reasons enough to be worried seeing as Madrid are always incredibly dangerous on the counter, are reigning Spanish champions and have one of the top 2 players in World Football (in terms of individually winning games, he's still number one for me, but football is a team game and Messi links slightly better in sides with all around quality).

Bayern and Madrid are arguably the two most devastating sides on the counter. Incredible performance yesterday.

Ye but Madrid have not played well this season. Let not forget Madrid have already conceded La Liga, are in 3rd place behind Athletico & finished second in their champions league group failing to beat Dortumund.

So they weren't playing anywhere close to the form they showed last season & United did well to leave Madrid in the 1st leg with a point. And probably could have won if Van Persie scored those big chances he had.

But last nights win was the best Madrid have looked all season & it was very close to last season's form. That performance alone should make United worry now - not any Madrid have done before.

Ye Barca need long term replacement for Puyol sadly. He isn't even first choice for Spain anymore. People in England have been foolishly criticizing Ferdinand for being passed - but uncle Carlos certainly is.

And ye for sure, they should start Villa more often. He seems fairly fit since recovering from his leg. They can certainly do with his directness in the box.

Hummels? They really missed out on the best defender in the world last summer in Thiago Silva.

Ye he was a miss, but i wouldn't say he is best defender in the world, that was a bit of overhyped media statement when he left Milan for PSG. Would still rate Kompany & Vidic over him.

If Barca want a long-term defender replacement, a outside the box shout could be Dede of Brazil. Still plays in Brazil, beast of player, very quick & technically sound enough to play in the barca system.

Guess I got caught in the hype lol, I know little to nothing about him. :rolleyes

Dede, now that's an interesting one, I only really know him from FIFA and what not, but I'll take your word for it. ;)

Angelo Ogbonna of Torino? I've personally never seen him play before, but he's one that's kinda/sorta linked with Barcelona, maybe Haari can fill us in on this one.

Young and definitely talented, but not yet Barca material. Needs a couple more years to develop into a fine player.

Porto's Mangala would be a solid option to go after. Physically boss. No wonder AVB has his eyes set on this lad

Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala happy to be linked with Man Utd and Tottenham | Football News | Sky Sports

Ah, gotcha.

Mangala, now that's a defender I've watched a few times, like the look of him.
