Who will win the La Liga this season?

I see Ivan Rakitic is having a blinder of a season at Sevilla this season. Shame we didn't go for him this summer, when he was pretty much whoring himself out to us. Was available for only 12mil!

Yet another man of the match performance in Sunday's Seville derby. If I was Rodgers, he'd definitely be my #1 transfer target in the January window. Best thing about him, is that he's been 100% effective in all three midfield positions this year - AM/CM/DM.

------------Suarez-------Sturridge--------------
------------------Coutinho--------------
---------Rakitic----Lucas-----Gerrard--------

Damn, give me this front six, Brendano Rodriguez..

Getafe IMO showed today that despite Barca still being world class as an attacking force, their inability to buy a a top defender in the transfer will leave them vulnerable in the champions league again & will keep Atletico & Real very close to them in La Liga.

In-demand Koke has what it takes to reach the top by Graham Hunter - ESPN FC

I have seen a bit of Atletico this season, and Koke definitely looks like the real deal.

I hope he doesn't move to United. But really, why would he? Challenging the duopoly of Real and Barca with a limited budget, playing exciting football in a well-drilled team under an inspirational manager is surely a much more exciting prospect than scrounging for a Europa League spot.

He would move if his club wants to get rid of him, which is likely. Their financial position, like most Spanish clubs barring the big two, is in tatters. Expect them to willingly lose a lot of their stars, unless they can win La Liga and maybe get a fairer share of the television rights.

Of all places to move, I don't know why he'd choose Man Utd though - I don't see why any top player would go there. Rumours like these are funny, though the talk of Gundogan and Reus takes the cake though. I think you will struggle to find anything more priceless than the Ronaldo and Fabregas rumours though.

Croatia midfielder Ivan Rakitic not seeking Sevilla exit - ESPN FC

Any more TV money they receive due to the reduction of piracy is only going to go to Barca and Real so I can't see why the other clubs care:rolleyes.

:lol For a so called "top class" defender, Ramos gets a ridiculous amount of red cards..

True that, even though the red yesterday might have been a bit harsh. People might differ, but to me it was not a red. Maybe a yellow at the most.
