Spain have been by far the better team in the first half but Turkey got the lucky break against the run of play. Think Guiza needs to be brought on for the second, given his experience in the Turkish league.

6 wins out 6, unbeaten in 32 now. Left it late, but certainly a deserved win for la furia roja. Dani was brilliant, and did in 10 minutes what Torres failed to do in the first 80, keep off his markers. I think Del Bosque should never play Torres as a lone striker, especially when playing against physically strong teams like Turkey, and Dani is the perfect fit for that situation.

Nevertheless, after a tough couple of days, I really enjoyed this win. Great to do it with a late goal as well.

Expected a hard fought win and that is exactly what we got. We were without some key players as well and Malaga are having a cracking season, even better than what Almeria had last time around.

But 5 goals against the same team in one season, Higuain is king!

Shame about Santi's injury though. Big blow for Villarreal in their push for a top four finish and even in the Champions League. Expected to miss Spain's Confed Cup campaign as well which is annoying:

Really impressed with Mata's display again. Strongly recommend him for Spain considering the injury prone Silva.

Spanish defences are crap. Getafe shouldn't have got close to the Valencia goal. Should have been a route for Valencia. Shame all their players are leaving

I'm assuming, since they have no money whatsoever (they had to borrow ?50m just to pay the players wages), they'll sell their players for as much as they can.

Although rumours suggest that the big two - Villa and Silva have said that they will stay.

With the catalans scraping another win, its again important to keep winning our games. Ofcourse the crunch period is yet to come, so 6 points is nowhere near enough to be comfortable, but we should not let it get anymore.

Also there is the case of personal revenge against Valladolid and against Corominas in particular.

Ramos is out, so Torres will get another game which is good for his development. Higuain has to start, probably along with Raul and Klaas again!!

Hah. As comfortable as it gets and sweet revenge on Valladolid as well. And with Barca now having extra games to play, I'd be very confident of our chances. Simply because we cant lose.

Would prefer Valencia in the Champions League rather than Villarreal. We need a player like Santi and that could really be a lot easier if they dont make it next season there. You could say the same about Valencia and Villa or Silva but we do not need another striker and Silva is too injury prone. I would actually prefer taking someone like Juan Mata back or Raul Albiol in defence.

Pretty confident now that Espanyol are going down. Have only really played well against the big teams and although it'll be sad to see the best team in the Catalunya go down, their association with the region makes them crap, so they deserve to go down and set an example for Barcelona.

And with Sevilla losing yesterday, the andalucians are now 12 points behind us. Hah!

Pretty disappointing half so far. Distribution seems to be lacking today although Recre and putting in tackles left, right and center. Should have one up though, but the upright denied us.

Probably the dutch duo of Sneijder and VDV need to be brought on.
