Defending is still a worry really, but Huntelaar is what we were missing in the Champions League. But good attacking play overall, and the pressure is now back on Barca.

So Raul misses out again. Cant say I am surprised though. Guiza is having another brilliant season and you need to pick your best team. Doesn't matter though because Villa, Torres and that dirty Basque are ahead of him anyway, so it does not make sense to have Raul as a fourth striker.

The lad has already achieved greatness, although it is sad that he never won any international accolade. A legend nevertheless.

Well considering that Guiza has the experience of playing in the Turkish league, I would probably give it a shot starting him. If not in tonight's game, then atleast for the return fixture in midweek.

Will be great to see Del Bosque back at the ground where he won so many trophies both as player and manager. It is for the way we parted company with Del Bosque that I always hated Florentino Perez and hopes he never becomes Real president again, irrespective of who can bring to the club.

Turkey are a good team. Played really well away from home, and Spain got a lucky goal in the end but overall were the better team. I thought Santi was especially impressive. Very lively, always involved in the game and has an eye for goal. I would call him the Stevie G of Spain.

I said Steven Gerrard and not Cristiano Ronaldo. The same Gerrard who Zidane feels is the best in the world, which makes him better than Ronaldo and Rooney.

If we are going off stupid football players opinions then Pele said Nicky Butt was the best player at the 2002 world cup and he was better than Zidane so he must be right. I guess his predictions that Columbia are going to win every world cup must have just ended up wrong because of bad luck for the Columbians. I mean a great player like he was can't be wrong.

Phil unnecessarily got the diving thing up, when I was comparing Santi's attacking and goalscoring skills to that of Stevie G's.
