Barcelona lost to Hercules! What a shock! If Real Madrid can win their game, then I'm sure vaughn will be very happy with the results.

Real Madrid won 1-0.

Atletico are currently leading 1-0. Got 35 minutes left.

2-0 in the end, but could've easily been 3-0 tbh.

Madrid were a bit gritty but got a win nonetheless. They seem to be lacking that bite in the final third at the moment. But I guess that takes time with a new manager and plenty of new players coming in - squad gelling takes time.

Atletico win 2-1. Llorente scored in the 88th for Bilbao but another good performance from Atletico.

Valencia also look strong this season. David Villa was the 2nd highest goalscorer last season, and they also have Fernando Morientes now.

Worser than Villareal currently and Atletico Madrid also have a better chance than Valencia. And I wonder how many midfielders you'll have in that squad and no Carles Puyol, Adriano, Rodriguez. Abidal is a poor guy and is not a nice guy at all.

Great win of Barcelona against Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid really put some pressure on Barcelona in the last 10 minutes. This was the first live league of Barcelona, that I watched on TV (not on PC), so it was great to see it.

Ujfalusi really made a disgraceful charge on Messi in the dying minutes. He got a red card for it, but Messi had to be stretchered out of the field. Luckily the injury isn't that bad. It is said, that he will only miss two matches.

Valencia happen to be the ONLY side to have won all their games this season. I know its just September, but still.

I've seen their games and I think the exits of Villa and Silva has allowed the team to play more as a unit rather than depend on 1-2 players. It happened before when Mendieta left in 2001 and Valencia went on to win the league in 2002 and 2004.

Also they still have a lot of quality in attack and midfield. Defense is certainly better than last season as well.

And that will be job done for Levante. You sometime need a bit luck to win football matches. You have to feel for Real Madrid here. They had lots of chances and somehow they were not able to score. Extraordinary game of football. That is one of the most entertaining draw game I have seen where none of the team has scored and still it was delight to watch. I do not know what is happening with Ronaldo? All the free kicks were so low that every time it was hitting the defensive wall. I must say poor effort by Madrid.

Valencia is doing very well at the moment. It certainly makes the league more interesting although it's still early days.

Even I was amazed with Cristiano's freekicks. My friend was saying he is trying too hard which is probably true but you know with him you are only game away from that "special" performance.

Apart from the Ajax game I think all our performances have been average. People still finding their feet and both Higuain and Ronaldo unable to find their goalscoring touch. Luckily we've managed to drop just the four points and others have also not been able to go too far ahead.

I think Mou needs to give a chance to Granero and Pedro Leon in the next game against AJ Auxerre and probably even a start for Benzema?
