Seriously though, what an awesome inning by Dhoni. He single-handedly won the match for India as far as I'm concerned. I was glad he ran out target or else he would've most certainly broken my man Anwar's record.

He had a great chance for a 200, unfortunately the target ran out. He should definitely play in the tests. Karthik hasn't done anything with the bat apart from that 93. I doubt he could ever emulate this innings of Dhoni. He has proved that he is not a one-time wonder.

Of course he's not a one-match wonder.

We must also accept the fact that Kartik can never reach the batting heights as that of Dhoni.Maybe kartik would remain as the second-charge keeper .So if dhoni is injured then kartik will play.
My bet :Mahendra Singh Dhoni will make his Test match debut in Nagpur when India play Sri Lanka in the first test there.
