Story Team India- Men in Blue's Diary||Indian Tour to New Zealand-//Australia VS India, First Innings//-

Not liking the layout too much. Can't you just stick to atleast the normal format. Its really hard especially in that colour and in Comic Sans.

Indian Team Practicing for the second ODI at Kolkata.

At a press meet, MS Dhoni quoted that the previous one was lucky one for India as Picking up Symonds at that time was really impossible. He even quoted that both the teams were equally strong and the series will be pretty Interesting.
Ricky Ponting quoted that a win on that day would have made him happy but he said that he agrees with Dhoni that both the teams were equally strong and he even agreed that losing Symonds at the crucial time was the difference.
Andrew Symonds quoted that he was built up with pressure after the crowd was shouting "Sreesanth Sreesanth....." at that time. he added "Even they shouted many times but this it was all nearly 20,000 people who shouted that and made me go into deep pressure."
Sreesanth quoted that he was bit lucky as he got rid of Symonds, at the correct time. He even added that the series would be interesting as both of teams are looking equal. He added "yeah, I even was in pressure when that cry of "Sreesanth... Sreesanth...!!!" came up as it was the second time when I got this kind of response from crowd. It was at Brabourne's T20 match against Australia, I got it and it was day before yesterday again.."
Irfan Pathan quoted that he was happy for his 8 wicket haul. He said that he wanted to clinch Kumble Bhai's record of 10 wickets in a match but it was impossible as it was Sree, who took those two wickets in the mind blocking over.
Both of them announced that they'd be going with same line ups for the second ODI as well.

to be continued...

You need to improve the grammar a little, like this:

Even they shouted many times but this it was all nearly 20,000 people who shouted that and made me go into deep pressure

20,000 people were cheering on Sreesanth, I was put under heavy pressure

Eden gardens was all set to host an Important game of India VS Australia.
The total ground was made ready. Both the teams practiced intensively for their 2nd ODI at Kolkata.
It was Hedger, who held the toss.
TOSS:-
Hedger:- Good Afternoon everybody.. Welcome to Eden Gardens. Its the time for toss.
From me, its Indian Captain MS Dhoni, then Ricky Ponting and the last one here is match refree Roshan Mahanama.
MS Dhoni to spin the coin, Ponting to call.
Ponting:- Heads..!!
Mahanama:- Heads it is.
Hedger:- Well Punter, what'd you like to do??
Ponting:- Well, we'll have a bat first as the wicket looks hard and if we get a total nearing to 300, we can declare ourselves win.
Hedger:- Any Changes in the side??
Ponting:- Well, no changes but we may change the line up according to situation.
Hedger:- Thanks for your valuable time Punter Good Luck.
Ponting:- Cheers mate, Thanks.
Hedger:- Now we have Indian Captain MS Dhoni with us.
MS, what'd you have done if you'd have won the toss??
Dhoni:- Well, I'd have bowler first as the dew factor here on this city is more and we can expect dew after 25 overs in second Innings.
Hedger:- Any changes in side??
Dhoni:- no changes.
Hedger:- Any predictions on this match?
Dhoni:- Not actually. Both the teams are good looking on paper. But it depends on the performance. If you're a bit lazy on field, you may lose.
Hedger:- Thanks for your valuable time mate. Good luck.
Dhoni:- Thanks mate.
Well, the news from the center is Australia have won the toss and decided to bat first.

Both the Aussies Openers started off well for Australia. Both of them contributed 35 runs each.
Then Watson was sent out by an excellent throw by Tendulkar. Both of them (Openers) were confused whether to take second run or not. Tendulkar's direct him from Long off to the non strikers end was resulted in a run out of Shane Watson. It was so close that even Third Umpire took 4 minutes to give the decision.
Then came in Ponting, who played some excellent cricket. The first ball he faced was sent for a huge one over extra cover. Then the batting aggressiveness of Ponting went on till he scored 74 runs. The 79th ball he was facing was being bowled by Harbhajan Singh. The ball did turn and it was a leading edge which gave Harbhajan Singh a practice session type catch.
Mean While, when Ponting was playing, Michael Clarke was trying to lift up the run rate. In that process, he gave away his wicket while attempting for a six through the longest distance boundary. Irfan Picked up his wicket and it was Harbhajan, who caught an excellent catch at boundary. He jumped first to stop the ball going over the boundary. Luckily, he had enough time to fall down and take that one.
Michael Hussey came in and played aggressively. His contribution was important as he used the most of Batting Powerplay.
After his wicket to Harbhajan Singh, Symonds came in and Roy didn't play well as expected.
The first ball he faced was being bowled by Sreesanth and the first and the foremost ball, by Symonds created an injury to him on his head. He went away retired hurt and came back again after the fall of Mitchell Johnson.
Mean While, Cameroon White was protecting his wicket for blasting in depth overs.
Paine went out for 16 off 18 balls as he was caught LBW in the bowling of Sreesanth.
Johnson was Duck, nicking the ball to Dhoni off Sreesanth's bowling.
After Mitch went out. He played some good cricket and gave away his wicket in a sheer confusion between him and White. Tendulkar's excellent throw by pushing the leg umpire did result him another dismissal.
He later asked for apologies to the leg umpire Rudi Kortzen as he pushed him away in the process of running out Roy.
Brett Lee hit a four in his first ball and took a single in 294th ball of the innings.
He wasted 3 balls and finally gave a single to Cameroon White who was on 21.
He even wasted two balls and the last ball of the innings was to be faced by White.
He tried "Dilscoop" for which he was rewarded 4 runs. Dhoni tried to catch it but it was too late.

When Indians came on to bat, it was raining.
In the mean time, bcvstheworld had a chat with Ricky Ponting, where Ricky put out his opinion on the match. Punter said that Australians were going to win the game as after rain, the wicket favors bowling.

Brett Lee, Peter Siddle along with RP Singh and Sreesanth were invited by match officials to discuss about the run up.
They declared that the area of Run up was covered with sand from coastal area when the rain water came in.

But after an Hour, the match was abandoned as the rain spoiled the pitch and its surface very badly.
Match was officially Declared Abandon after examining the pitch twice.
Both the captains did show their disappointment as it was the game with a sure result.

Yeah, I got to take the toss :banana2:banana2

Anyway, Australia managed to score a reasonable total and rain coming down stopped what would have been a good match. I think Australia would have got home though.

I slightly edited presentation as to make one of it confirmed.
I think the one going now is better IMO.

I think that the Indians got a blessing in disguise.

The rain helped them out or else India would have lost this one.

I am happy as I support India. :)

Actually, India won that game when I simmed in Cricsim.
I abandoned it as to say exactly the tournament result.
Tendulkar hit 102 off 85 balls, Sehwag 120 off 90 balls.
Opening partnership was 203.
Gautam Gambhir hit some 70 runs and rest were extras.
India won that game with 9 wickets in 41 overs itself.
