Story Team India- Men in Blue's Diary||Indian Tour to New Zealand-//Australia VS India, First Innings//-

204 was a low total by India A.
But,the bowlers bowled well and won the match for them.
Aussies might well be left with a shock.
And,for Dhoni to do that was ridiculous as he would have just rested rather than acting.

Australians, after losing practice game at Hyderabad, Moved to Banglore to test their luck against India A there.
Both the sides were to go with similar line ups.
It was an excellent surface of batting on which Badri selected to bat after winning the toss.
When the match went on, it was Goswami blitzing like combination of both Viru Bomb and Gilly rocket.

Goswami playing a shot against Australia at Banglore for his ecstatic knock of 145 which included 13 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 91.5.
Even Rayudu, Sodhi, Badri had some markable knocks of 37, 31 and 23 respectively.

Brett Lee was the most economical and Johnson picked up 2 but OMG..!!
What did Hauritz do??
The one considered as the most important person failed against India A team.

When Australians started their innings, everything was looking fine for Australians but when wickets went down, India A gained control over the game and finally clinched it.
At the end of the day, the scorecard looked something like this:-

Great effort from Hussey, Warner, Timmy Paine and Hussey played a captain Knock IMO.
And when we move to Bowling,
Balaji and Tyagi got two wickets each.
Binny was bit economical and Sodhi, along with Munaf picked 1 each.
Bit disappointing for Dinda.

Man of the match was awarded to Goswami for his Blitzkreigj 145.

Australians Flied off to Vishakapatnam for their 1st One Day International immediately after the match as they had only a day between the Practice game and first ODI.
Ricky Ponting, after going to Vishakapatnam said to media that they'll read the pitch first before deciding the people to be taken to playing XI.
Meanwhile, totally crowded Indian Team skipper MS Dhoni said that Venugopal, the Local boy was likely to make his come back at his Home Ground in front of his home ground.

He even said likely XI for the game.
1) Virender Sehwag
2) Gautam Gambhir
3) Sachin Tendulkar
4) Yuvraj Singh
5) MS Dhoni
6) Venugopal Rao
7) Yusuf Pathan
8) Irfan Pathan
9) Harbhajan Singh
10) R.P.Singh
11) Sreesanth.
He said that Venu might move bit up above me as its his home ground and he might know some tactics if the pitch as its the pitch being used for international cricket after 6 years.
He even said that he got popular with that particular ground when he hit blistering knock of 148 against Pakistan. He said that he can't forget ACA VDCA ground as he started getting popular with the knock at that ground.

Both the sides started their practice at VDCA ground and Ponting, along with team experienced like Gilchrist, Hussey, Brett Lee, Andrew Symonds etc..
To Be Continued....

One man can change the entire scenario.
Ponting...Ricky Ponting ;)
The greatest cricketer this world has ever seen after Sir Donald Bradman.:)

Ponting is the person to watch out for in this tournament.
And from here on, slow updates would be given as My Half Yearly is coming, Clash of Titans gonna start immediately after APL finals (Thread to be started tomorrow:)) and India Australia Hero Honda cup (Actual tournament:p:p)

I like your presentation, it is very user friendly.
Aussie have a lot of work to do if they can't even beat India A.

At the end of the day, the scorecard looked something like this:-

Can you not say "something", just say "the scorecard looked like this:-"

It's not much it's just annoying me because it didn't look something like that, it looked exactly like that. :p

Other than that good work, KIU!!!

But mate, the official scorecard was with PC TV logo which would be up for International Games.

But mate, the official scorecard was with PC TV logo which would be up for International Games.

OK, it doesn't really matter at all. Everyone has things that annoys them and just seeing "looked something like this" done it for me.
Anyway KUTGW.

Well, it was the first One Day International between India And Australia.
Australian Captain Ricky Ponting did announce the line up and ACA VDCA stadium dominated Indian Fans.
Both the Captains announced their Playing XI.
India:-
Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Venugopal Rao, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, S.Sreesanth, RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha.
Australia:-

It was an excellent pitch on which the toss took place.
TOSS:-
BCVSTHEWORLD:- Well, Good morning Vishakapatnam.... its the time for toss. The two captains are here along with the match refree Mr Roshan Mahanama.
Now, its Dhoni to spin the coin and Ricky to call.
Ricky Ponting:- Heads..!!
BCVSTHEWORLD:- Heads is the call.
Roshan Mahanama:- Tails it is..
BCVSTHEWORLD:- Its Tails..(The total crowd cheers up....)
Dhoni:- Yeah, its an excellent surface, so we'll have a bat on it. Looks like its a pitch which supports batting first and its expected to turn out slow when the day progresses.
BCV:- Dhoni, can I have your batting and bowling strengths please..
Dhoni:- Well, I think we have our batting strength back as now we have Viru and Sachin sir opening, Gambhir one down, Yuvraj, Venugopal, Myself, Yusuf to come according to situation.
Coming to Bowling, We clearly miss Zaheer. RP, Sreesanth bowled good at T20 2007 would cup. And from then, they weren't given chance of starting proceedings. But, I'll continue that and use Sreesanth as third bowler as Irfan was good at nets some time before..
Bhajji would spin the ball along with Ojha, Yuvi and Tendulkar sir.
BCV:- Well mate, good luck.
Dhoni:- Cheers mate, thankyou..:)
BCV:- What would you have done if you'd won the toss..??
Ricky:- Well, IMO, its a batting surface, so, I'd even done what my opponent did.
BCV:- So, can I have your batting and Bowling strengths??
Ricky:- Watto and Pup would start up batting today, followed by me. Then we have Bear, Huss, Paniey, Roy, Mitch and Binga to come up accoring to situation.
Coming to Bowling, we have Binga in full form. Peter Siddle would start proceedings as he was good at nets today.
Mitch today will have burden of Batting, not bowling as we have Watto today as third Bowler.
BCV:- Well Ricky, Good luck.
Ricky:- Cheers mate, thankyou..!!:)
BCV:- The news from the center is India have won the toss and decided to bat first.

ans.... Noo.......

It was a tie..!!

Even Australians scored exactly 234 for loss of 10 wickets.
It was Irfan Pathan, who picked up 8 wickets..!!:eek:
Clarke Contributed 65 runs of 95 balls where as Ricky Ponting contributed 58 off 48 balls.
It was Andrew Symonds who hit 82 runs, with which he could have win the match if he'd have stayed at crease for three to four balls.
Sreesanth Picked up Symonds when Australians Required a run to win.
Then came in Peter Siddle, who went for a duck as Sreesanth SPINNED the ball along with his pace.
