So my next pick is Dennis Lillee.
According to Cricinfo
Dennis Lillee, considered by many to have been "the complete bowler", was the heart of Australia's attack for more than a decade. Through a combination of ability, showmanship, and sheer hard work he won the loyal following of the nation's crowds, who often roared his name as he ran into a bowl. And Lillee repaid their faith with interest - he was the type of character whom captains could rely on to bowl "one moreover" at the end of a long spell and often made breakthroughs when success seemed unlikely.

While Warner would not seem like an opener who just go all guns blazing from the start, but still his strike rate is much better than many of the legendary openers. This is what Warner's speciality is, it seems like he is playing slow and just dealing in singles, doubles and occasional boundaries, but when you look at the scorecard, his score would read something like 70(70). Also he can turn on his destructive mode which we all have witnessed in T20s whenever the team requires it. This versatality at the top helps the team to adapt to different conditions easily. Moreover, we should not forget his fielding skills and also that bullet throw.

@Bevab

I still feel that :saf::wk:Quinton de Kock is a tad underrrated if not heavily so. A top five keeper in ODI history in terms of consistency, only two keepers have more centuries than him and both have played significantly more games. A player in the mould of Gilchrist who has to play a more circumspent role due to his team’s lack of world-class batsmen, QdK will have no such worries in my XI and can let himself loose and go after the bowlers right from the start. With the gloves, he is an athletic freak and more than makes up for the rare gaffe with a spectacular take or two. And when he is set with the bat, you know that he is going to be a significant contributor with a match-winning score. On his day, this bloke is a top ten white ball batsman in the current cricket scene.

:saf: :bat: Faf du Plessis

Faf du Plessis is a player tailor-made for the ODI format. He can play the long innings, he can go berserk, and most importantly, he can stop sure shot sixes at the long-on and long-off boundary :p

As his profile on Cricinfo says, Classy, composed and a fine crafter of innings', Faf du Plessis emerged as one of South Africa's most consistent batsmen in the post-Jacques Kallis era. Du Plessis is strong on the front foot, has impeccable defences and enjoys spending time at the crease. A natural leader, du Plessis was put in charge of the T20 side in February 2013 and formed part of the senior core in other formats.
