Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 1

Luke Pomersbach
157618.jpg

Stats
List A :- 666 runs @ 20.81 (1 100 , Best 104*) in 37 matches

Famous for being the only person to be called to play, after coming to watch the match as a spectator, Luke Pomersbach never played for Australia again. A hard hitting batsman, he did get some attention in T20 cricket, but was never the kind of batsman you could bank upon. Add to that, he has faced disciplinary actions multiple times in his career.

And he goes to....

@Parth D

:aus: :bat: Luke Pomersbach

Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 2

Hrishikesh Kanitkar
Ganguly_99-918562.jpg

Stats
List A :- 3526 runs @ 35.26 (6 100s, Best 133) and 70 wickets @ 39.64 (BBI 4/35) in 128 matches
ODIs :- 339 runs @ 17.84 (Best 57) and 17 wickets @ 47.23 (BBI 2/22) in 34 matches

Any Indian fan who watched India in the 90s would remember him for the winning boundary against Saqlain Mushtaq in the Independence Cup of 1998. That was pretty much the only highlight of his international career. He never really could adapt to international cricket. Still, he brings some accurate fielding and some gutsy batting to the side.

And he goes to....

@Yash.

:wi: :ar: Vivian Richards
:ind: :ar: Hrishikesh Kanitkar

With Viv in the side, Kanitkar can bat in any way that he wants. I'm just hoping that this side stays with me till the end.

Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 3

Michael Beer
beer.png

Stats
List A :- 26 wickets @ 39.69 (BBI 3/39) in 27 matches

The only thing he does okay enough is keep the runs down. He just can't pick wickets. Only once in his senior career, did he cross 5 wickets... Apart from that his best figures read 3/13. An all the best from my side to whoever gets this...

And he goes to....

@Aislabie

:saf: :ar: Mike Procter
:aus: :bwl: Michael Beer

You have Mike Procter... To mantain the balance in your team, a player like Michael Beer was necessary.

Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 4

Martin Crowe
full_original_PS0051449-CROWE_1.jpg

Stats
List A :- 8740 runs @ 38.16 (11 100s, Best 155*) in 261 matches
ODIs :- 4704 runs @ 38.55 (4 100s, Best 107*) in 143 matches

Of course I didn't put all horrible players in the reserves. Martin Crowe was one of the best ever batsmen to hail from New Zealand. His exhilarating form in the 92 WC at home, both as a captain and a batsman, was just pure joy to watch. Add to that, his leadership ability and his elegance and range, he is one of the best batsmen in this list.

And he goes to....

@Bigby Wolf

:nzf: :bat: Martin Crowe
:ind: :bwl: RP Singh

That looks like a pretty decent team.

Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 5

Alex Loudon
alex-loudon-warwickshire-bears-picture-id662510462

Stats
List A :- 1312 runs @ 23.42 (Best 73*) and 44 wickets @ 40.43 (BBI 4/48) in 77 matches
ODIs :- 0 runs and 0 wickets in 1 ODI

Not a good enough batsman, not a good enough bowler. In T20s, he might have been a great wicket taking option, but in 50 over cricket, he just wasn't.

It's funny how his Cricinfo profile says he lost his place to Jamie Dalrymple as Dalrymple went from strength to strength, who himself had an ODI average of 19.48 and bowling average of 47.57.

And he goes to....

@qpeedore

:eng: :ar: Alex Loudon

It's certainly Titanic for you, qpee.

Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 6

James Shannon
1526102.jpg

Stats
List A :- 386 runs @ 18.38 (Best 67) in 25 matches
ODIs :- 2 runs in 1 Match

James Shannon was a consistent performer for the Northern Knights in the Irish domestic setup, but just couldn't perform at the international level, barring one inning against India in which he made a quickfire 50. However, for majority of his time, the Irish domestic scene was not given List A status, and thus his statistics.

And he goes to....

@ahmedleo414

:ire: :bat: James Shannon

Let's hope it gets better than this for you.

Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 7

Ray Julian
gettyimages-81629428-1024x1024.jpg

Stats
List A :- 6 runs @ 2.00 (Best 4) in 3 matches

If you thought Kwame Tucker was bad, he is his dad. He kept wickets, but just couldn't bat. Even his fist class career reads, 2581 runs @ 9.73 with a best of 51 in 288 innings.

And he goes to....

@qpeedore

:eng: :ar: Alex Loudon
:eng: :wk: Ray Julian

This is going worse than Titanic.

Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 8

Napoleon Einstein
vNv1NTZo0W5T8ubk8wWS_2016_08_15.jpg

Stats
List A :- 93 runs @ 46.50 (Best 92) in 2 matches

He played two matches for Tamil Nadu in 2007, and then was in the squad for the 2008 U19 WC. After that, he played a sole T20, and never played again. Although he used to admire Anil Kumble, he wanted to become a match winning all rounder. I wonder what happened of him..

And he goes to....

@Parth D

:aus: :bat: Luke Pomersbach
:ind: :ar: Napoleon Einstein

You've got two people with excellent stories to tell about, just not enough potential to win matches tho.

Round 2

Reserve Draw:- 9

Farokh Engineer

147644876-1231632.jpg

Stats
List A :- 3008 runs @ 23.31 (Best 93) in 160 matches
ODIs :- 114 runs @ 38.00 (Best 54*) in 5 matches

His one day stats do injustice to him. Farokh Engineer was as flamboyant as they came. Playing for Lancashire for most of his career, he was sharp in his wicket keeping and fearless in his batting. Much better batsman than any of the other wicket keepers we have had in this draft.

And he goes to....

@ahmedleo414

:ind: :wkb: Farokh Engineer
:ire: :bat: James Shannon

Not bad...
