Briggs-style Game Reviews
League 1:
Spinners Utd CCC beat The WrongUns by 10 wickets
The WrongUns arranged an out of league friendly, handing Spinners their 1st points of the League campaign.
New York Champs beat Cricket Geniuses by 7 runs
It was just pride on the line in this game as New York were already out, but it made for a seriously close match. Cricket Geniuses thought they had won, but they couldn't hold on to the last wicket and fell just short.
New York have 1 game left against WrongUns, Spinners and Geniuses have played all 6.
League 2:
Old Wulfs beat Bombay Blues by 9 wickets
Comprehensive win for the Wulfs against a mediocre opposition. Easily chased the target. Unfortunately, their group has already taken out both of these sides.
Rabbitohs beat The Game by 7 runs
In a tough away fixture for Rabbitohs, they just sneaked it in another great match. After posting a good total, they just bowled well enough to keep the door closed.
After a great cup run, Bombay still have 4 matches. Wulfs have 1, Rabbitohs 2 and The Game 3. Although, this is irrelevant as Rabbitohs have progressed and look to be a force in the 1/4 finals.
League 3 had no fixtures
League 4:
Casino36 beat Pakistani Pingers by 6 wickets
In a close fought group, Casino 36 picked up a deserved 3 points with a comfortable victory. They batted well and this just makes the group even tighter.
Bushwackers beat Wunchabankers by 190 runs
An annihalation given by the current group toppers, an excellent display that has knocked out the opposition, literally.
Only Wunchabankers are out in this group and have 2 to play. Bushwackers in best position with 3 to play, Pingers have 2, Casino have 1.
League 5:
Antigua All-Stars beat Didcot Dragons by 10 wickets
Dragons didn't accept challenge and forfeit match
Jazz Messengers beat TT Lions by 11 runs
The group decider. TT lions wanted to qualify after reaching the Semis last time round, and especially since they were cheated last week, but in a thriller, Jazz Messengers clinched top spot with a dramatic win after their bowlers survived the TT Lions fight.
This group has completed, Jazz Messengers have upset the Lions and won the group.
League 6:
Everton beat Borncricketers XI by 101 runs
Everton comfortably won the match, and the group, in one go. They were too strong for Borncricketers and deserved the win. Borncricketers become one of the 2 teams to end on 0 points
Armchair Athletes beat SriLanka r us by 10 wickets
Forfeited match
This league is over as well. Everton go through quite comfortably in the end with a perfect record.
League 7:
Preston Panthers beat ashutosh0 by 10 wickets
Forfeited match
Briggs XI beat shane28688 by 9 wickets
Briggs showed their class by dispatching shane in their final group game. They also finished off their perfect group stage, and go into the 1/4 final 6 and 0.
All matches have been played and Briggs XI are through by quite a way. Obviously they possess far more quality than the likes of Preston Panthers.
League 8:
Hasis Legends beat Challengers XI by 231 runs
In a storming performance, the legends gave themselves the best chance of progression and possibly upsetting the Falcons. Challengers XI may as well have forfeited.
The Falcons beat chriskillers by 284
The Falcons showed why they are arguably the best PC Battrick team with an absolutely massive victory. They need to win their last 2 games to progress.
Challengers XI have played all 6, and will finish bottom. Hasis Legends and Chris Killers both need to play the Falcons, one slip for them and they could be out. CHris Killers cannot qualify.

You're a bit late for the Pc Battrick CUp, which is in the quarter finals mate, but hopefully spin can put you in the shield. Repost those in the Battrick Shield thread.
