The PlanetCricket Battrick Sledging Thread

Not to be too arrogant, but you could have checked the forums now and then just to see, I think I posted sometime during last week to warn people not to make friendlies for this weekend. Anyway, I don't think you'll have much trouble making up for that forfeit.

ok love lol. i do apologize. im back this week and ill try my best to do better.

yea i can do. ok here we go

Bowlers

Dessie "The Spartan" Robson No stranger to the International Scene Dessie has boxed in the ring with the Aces. At the tender age of 18 her got a 5for im sure thats an U19 record no one does that. this Guy is a beast. Being 18 hes already turned through 59 overs. I expect alot from this lad and so does Davis88. Come on Dessie

Greg "The Razor" Fraser oo la la a delicious morsel served with... hahahaaaaaa.... nah this lad looks promising and will hopefully do good things for us. He is an "Underground" Legend hes taken 11 wickets in 2 overs a fantastic return i feel considering hes in training. best figures being a beautiful 3 for 3. Hopefully a superstar in the making.

Nathaniel "Mary" Clare - Well his mum must have been smoking the kush to give him Mary for a middle name hahahaaaa., hes such a girl. Hopefully his bowling will be as defensive as one. He got so much turn on the ball that we thought he was bowling "For the other side" lol. The lad looks good and he should go good.

Dwight "The Wright" Hougaard - Attacking on paper but nasty by nature literally. hes mint and has taken a stonking 22 wickets from 67 overs this season, if he cn give us some of that magic we'll root for him

Clyde "Ironside" Taggart - Doesnt this chap look rosy medium pacer with excellent leadership skills. Hes been named Ironside is that how he will run the team as hes earmarked for captaincy. That aside i hope he does well. Come onnn run your ship with an Ironhand.

Eamonn "Holmes" Clitheroe - another medium pacer likened to the famous Sherlock Holmes. Rumor has it that Sherlock was an avid cricket fan and visited the Windies. I hope this guy can go better than the "Bitterest Blizzard" his economy for club should hopefully transfer to the national scene.

Troy "The Legend" Harrison - If hes anything liek his sister Helen (Helen of Troy) then he'll be a superstar. Nothing but positive vibrattions from this guy we hope and with career best of 5 for 42 and not being fit imagine when hes fit for us :)

Peter "Petrelli" Lindiwe - The Petrelli brothers from Heroes hmmm i wonder if this lad can emulate the abilities they have? Now this guy has me seriouls itiching my (whoops thinking out loud here) with 6 for 32 thats a fantastic turn round. His AR ability gives us depth which i like :D

Micah "The Stig" Cudworth - some say he plays for Manchester City. Some say he wont be consistent at international level all we know is hes called The Stig.

Travis "The Hitman" Hardiker - A promising developing player who has the ability to damage to any batting attack. He was interviewed after his nets session earlier at the Concrete Jungle CG where his trials were held and it was heard that Mo Maxfield and Charlie Allen could not stop raving over this guy. Lets see what he can do at this level.

Wicket Keepers/Bats

Bernard "The Enigma" Crabb - well like his middle name suggests we have no idea about this guy or where he plays on the field. all we know is he will play. With an average of 11 is he a batter? we arent entirely sure he might just be the water boy well someone has to right lol!

Roland "The Gazelle" Seaby - looking like a cross between Sean Kingston and Leverock (If you dont know who Leverock is then go home right now lol) he opens for SAS and takes balls behind the stumps. the lad looks promising if he can move anything like Leverock can we will win the WC.

Batsmen

Didier "The Dragon" Shaw - Possibly one of the finest talents ever seen on these shores. hopefully he will be able to go for broke and bludgeon the opposition. With a high score of 169 at the tender age of 18 id be hard pressed to say much more else tbh. I take my hat off to the lad.

Chris "The Captain" Hook - Strong enough to anchor an innings skillful enough to please the ladies. what a fine player. All thats missing is his hat from the Village People rendition he did last night Earlier today on the Jeremy Kyle show we had some DNA results back and i can now say Chris Hook............................ IS..................... the younger brother of NT Legend Cleveland Hook, there was previously some dispute over this because of his how shall we put it Promiscuous Mother/Father. High score of 114 if he can do tht for us every innings then sweet as a nut.

Carlyle "The Fish" Gill - Slippery when wet! or so he was telling me when i met up with hm to see if hes suitable for the team and with line like that i cant argue lol. 155 high score hes sure to do his "Howlers" Manager proud bring onnnnn the games.

Graeme "The Mailman" Floors - he always delivers. Hopefully clinical witht he bat especially as he has an astonishing high score of 11 from competitve games but 137 from friendlies. hopefully he takes the friendly form into the international arena.

Del "Spooks" Casper - This guy will spook any bowling attack when hes done with them. Quite funy having a Ghost play cricket knowing that allt hings ghost related deal with cooler temperatures and he plays for Alaskan Assassins lol. Anyways yea hes lookign mighty fine and is all set the wreak havoc amongst the following support.

Franklyn "Pimp Daddy" Benjamin - Son of former RL Kenny Benjamin this lad hails to do great things and the pressure is onn with daddy watching. From a tiny Village in Harefield hes lookign to do good things for his team and country. Of course if we reversed his name that also gives us Benjamin Franklyn and "its all about the benjamins baby"

Kim "Big Bird" Fowler - Nothing can stop Big Bird when on a rampage, there is nothing to cluck about for the opposition when he has 100 on the board. Apprently him and miss piggy went out on a date and Kermit wasnt best pleased so thats where his attitude came from because it was one of the grittiest fights ever seen on Seseame Street rofl.

Dinanath "Killer" Hudson - He sends bowlers up the river after any experience with this lad. So Destructive that he calledsuperman a little girl for being suceptible to cryptonite hahahaaaaa. Everyone has wondered why Ambrose and Walsh retired so young. they played against this lad in some yardie cricket and got hit so hard they said nahhhh this aint good lets quite while we are ahead ;)

Gaz "Gazza" Lee - a very attacking prospect but without much stats to back that up so we'll be looking for him to make good. Paul Gascoine apparently had an interaction with this lad in one way or another and we cant be for sure but his middle name Gazza isnt there for fun lol

Clyde "Grumpy" Constable - or so weve been told. An ok sign at season tally for runs and hopefullly he can do this for us too. with 3 50s he certainly shows promise. lets crack onnnn and see how we get on next season.

I was expecting a first round forfeit as i was away and didn't log on, only to see I got a win.

I challenged Old wulfs today as I'm off to Edinburgh tomorrow and may not be able to get on to accept, so desptie being the away side, i sent a challenge to him.

Thanks, accepted. Also apologies to Zain for not challenging him and accepting the challenge so late, have been extremely busy lately and BT has slid down the priorities list. Forgot to change my default team for BT20 which led to some poor PFLs, although Zain is far better than me anyway and would have easily beaten a fully fit side.

no problem man...
and ur team is good can cause trouble against any good team... yesterday was just a extra lucky day for my team...

no clash of brothers...

umer also forgot to change his defualt lineup and played 2nd string team against DA... he had defualted 2nd string team for BT20..

he will be looking for a revenge next week now...

zainawan89 added 6 Minutes and 33 Seconds later...

They will be up tomorrow, usually I'll only put them up by Monday anyway, I do have other things to do.

no problem mate...
they look good..

lol yea thats what i thought... cuz none of his top players were playing

oh well i dont mind the free win :) get ready "Strong Arm Steady"

Our U-19 team sucks. Until Kepler joins them. Then they'll rule.

Gamer XI now. Tough loss in the first week, lets see if we can do better here...

Greenbank still hasn't accepted my challenge :(

How late do I have to wait until I organize another friendly?

RaidersEleven Has already arranged a friendly this week.

@ WC : You said(when I mailed you in BT) that you were talking to BT admins to cancel the friendly which you had accepted by mistake. I don't think, it will be canceled.
