No pops for me :( . Decided to stop training Wood in bowling, Resp is high enough for me, and I want to improve his cons, so giving him a couple of fielding nets. He is yet another player plagued by fitness so will only play in important matches.

a couple of nets !!!
i dont think that a couple of nets will improve his consistency faster.
psychologist will attend only the first fielding session and the second session will only contribute to his fielding.
so... the second fielding net in terms of improving consistency is useless.
try putting him on one bowling, one fielding and one keeping. this combination improves secondaries with max. speed.

Ok, thanks mate, forgot about that :|
He needs some more fielding anyway, hes on worthless. Well, actually my whole team is pretty bad.

Hmm, me an Spin have our match today... I hope to win, and should do (on paper) but my league game went terribly. Other team got 350 on a green pitch, then bowled us out for 160. This season has been even worse than last!
But hopefully I can at least beat The Spin...

Chaudhry 5-0-10-0

economic figures there, thats key in OD games

add to the fact he top scored (well after extras) for me in my league game on friday (17 out of 68 rusn were his, 21 were extras) not a bad buy

i am playing fatal error's team BTW, in case it effects the rankings

If anyone cares, heres mine an the Spins match:
End of Over 48: 248-5, runrate=5.17
Croft 9-0-59-1
Harding* 1 (1 balls)
Riaan 1 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Duncum Run Out 58 (FOW: 247/5)

I've bowled badly on a green pitch, should really get more out than that.

these fixtures are a fix, i mean knocked out of the main competition by the favourites (come on, everyone thought the falcons would win in at the time), playing away at that, then next week they forgot to play or whatever and their opponents went though by default, i was 1 week off that,

and now first week of the league im playing the champions away, although the spin describes me as darkhorses, which is funny as cant see myself even challengeing the top 3 of my league

My opinion, call me biased, is that the fixtures are not a fix. The league was unlucky, ill hold my hands up, you got a bad draw. This time round, again an unlucky 1st game, but IMHO looking at the fixtures, you should win at least 3 out of the next 4. I think 4th is a very realistic target, and 4th is good enough to win the league (Champion decided by 1st v 4th, 2nd v 3rd. Winners play each other, winner = champion). So I think that your target should be that 4th place spot to get into the playoffs.

In fact, Im going to post my own prediction thread for this :p
