The Spin's Download Thread

This is planned for realistic 1.3, but is a time consuming excersise. As I am going on holiday during february (:)) you can expect it for the end of Feb.

Hope your enjoying/enjoyed your holiday, just want to say thanks for the patch, gave it a go last night, and despite only being half way into a 4 day match on a tour of the Windies already really enjoying it :)

Thanks mate, keep playing!

Have done, ended up winning the tour match by an innings, despite collapsing late on in my first innings :p

Currently in control against the Windies in the first test, Lara went cheaply in both innings, left a ball that jagged back in sharply on a green wicket to be caught LBW for 9. Have just removed him in the 2nd innings for 12 after he mistimed a hook to square leg :)

Strong position at the moment after Strauss hit a lovely patient century. I loved the fact that when I lost a bit of patience with Freddie and tried to hit big with him only on 13 it immediately edged to the slips. And that Strauss's innings included only 9 fours and a six (hit off a no ball) Gonna look to clean up the Windies now and then knock of any runs I have to chase on a pitch that seems to have gotten easier to bat on as the test continues, nice an realistic for a green wicket in baking sun :)

Thanks a lot mate, love the patch :)

I played briefly on the challenging patch and found that it isnt to bad but i would suggest you do something about the outfeild pacing because anything that goes through the infeild generally gets 4.

Also what pitch were you playing on? I find most things on a hard and dusty track will beat the fielders and go the fence, whilst when its green, or damp, there were a lot more scampered 1's, 2's, and 3's. Oddly enough I don't think I've played on a normal track yet.

Thats a good point but i slowed my feilders down with Player Editor so even on the damp outfeilds the leather still finds the rope in the end.

Hi mate! I am using your realistic patch for my story and I have just one word for that - Fantastic! Though this has been a low scoring match so far, I am able to match up with the CPU blow for blow. good work and expecting more brilliant work from you. Cheers!

Thanks to everyone for trying the patches, keep giving feedback. The major release of Realistic 1.3 is looming in. I have finished the general config editing and now going for the strokes!

I think you should do us PlanetCricket members a favour Chez and release the Realistic AI Patch 1.3 here at PlanetCricket. ;)
I can't be bothered roaming around your forums really. :p
However, I like the fact that I am admin of it!

Yes and you dont appear to have visited it much since I made you an admin...
Realistic 1.3's release location has not been confirmed, but most likely at PC

Thanks Puddleduck for the app
