As of the talking about tournmant, S. Lanka looses test and one day series from india and i dont think they r in confidence to play with the australian's and S. african's. talking about S. Africa they have some good players but past records says that they usually loose big games i.e in world cup 2003.

as far as the series is concern, australia wins 2nd test from S. Africa and now as a pcyclogogical fact, aussies r in more favours to win VB Series.

South Africa might give Australia a good fight and might stretch the VB series finals to the third match. Sri Lanka are struggling right now. Sri Lanka have a chance to beat South Africa in a match or so if the pitch assists spin bowling but I don't think its going to happen.

Australia will win the VB Series.

Australlia to win. Hussey and Symonds to be useful but Adam Gilchrist will rock SA and SL with a return to form.

Totally agree! :clap
With Symonds and Hussey in good form i can't see either team providing a huge test.I do not discount a loss for Australia, but with a full team they should win every match.

I would Australia are favourites to win. But I can see it that South Africa can pose a threat.

Of course, but if Australia don't rest any players it would be very unlikely that SAF or Sri Lanka win.

i think McGrath should retire from ODI's. it would do him, and cricket Australia alot of good. but, i do think he should play in the world cup.

McGrath dont have to retire, His Economy rate always be under 4.00 Per Over in One days, that helps australia team lots. In recent tests he didnt get lot of wickets but that does not mean he has to retire. He will rock again.

And Gilly will prolly have a rest from the ODI series, which would be a loss for the crowds around Australia.

nothing to worry about, gilly just need a good start and then he will hit balls like rockets, good for the crowd too.

its the 4th day of the final test and the play stops due to rain, so the test series is on the australia's way, and talking about S. Africa they have some pressure on them after loosing the test series, and S. Lanka is already on the loosiing street by the N. Zealander's. So Australian's r favourable for VB series as usual.

I think Ntini will be out for a while, but will Kemp be fit for the VB Series?
