Third Test: Australia v England at Edgbaston

Johnson is bowling much better than the other 2 Test. He was releasing the pressure every over, but today hes kept it very tight. Hes bowling it too short atm though.

Finally Johnson gets his man. Very well set up by Johnson, you could see Bell getting out like that.

Finally Bell goes. Plumber than the one yesterday and Rudi gives it this time. Very good bowling. Surprised him with the swinging ball.

Yep, I do agree he is bowling better but I'd just like to see Hauritz in there. Personally I think we underestimated him. When he pushes it up there, he's quite threatening.

I've gotta say, the Australians have been excellent in the field really.

Edit - just as I type, Bell goes LBW (I said earlier to Lee that Bell will get out LBW after he gets over 40, he's the same mould as Bopara). Good bowling Johnson.

With the ball swinging there isn't any need for Hauritz. The way Johnson is swinging it, there is no reason to take him off, Hilfy could use a break though.

Johnson has been bowling pretty well in this test, from what I've seen he's been able to get a few more balls to swing which is always helpful I guess.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, that what of been out. Great thinking

Barring something miraculous from our Fred, this game is Australia's.

:laugh

I'd love to see the day when you post anything predicting a England victory.

Its just a shame that Geraint Jones isn't here. His partnerships with Flintoff have been pretty good, and we could use that. Saying that, Prior has been pretty decent.

Nothing risky hooper you are very much caring of watson.;):laugh
Pitch is going preity well for bowlers may be few over's from siddle will be useful.

Oh hang on, if this is what Johnson can do when he's doing it every ball, bye bye England. That lifting ball to Flintoff then had his bewildered!

Johnson finally found his soul. Bout bloody time you idiot.

@ aditya, uh, I don't care for him. I just care for the sake of the team. If he bowls and gets injured you won't hear the end of it from feelin blue and myself.

I'm amazed by my Ian Bell antics/puns. I can just imagine the English press when he retires.

"Bell ends his international career on a high" *Hypothetically of course ;)
