Who will do better?

Seems like this is just a tad one sided

3-1 and 2-1 series victories aren't exactly massively one sided. I can assure you we are both on normal level.

Pakistan are pretty good on ICC and when we've done this before that's the way it has been.

Yeah, we'll get further this time I think. Glad we both won the Test series, will be interesting to see how we both do in the ODI series though.

Pakistan win by 134 runs

Reaction
Fantastic performance. Yousuf answered my criticism and hit a fine 105 to land him in good sted for a spot in the T20 against England. Misbah resumed his fine form from the 3rd test with a good fifty. Afridi was sensational with the ball, and in tandem with Kaneria the spinners were deadly. Bring on the T20!

Reaction
Great win although only a One Day Friendly. The opening partnership of 133 between Misbah and Younis Khan set us on course for our victory in the batting. On the bowling sides of things though and Afridi was the only bowler to really shine unfortunately. It was a mini batting pitch, if anything though. Inzi made a nice knock of 34 off 40 before Yousuf came and went for a mere 13. Nisar made a quick score of 15* off 9 balls whilst Afridi knocked the winning runs, getting 9* off 6 balls in the process. Victory as predicted.

Reaction
Well we won the toss and chose to bowl on what seemed to be a complete batting pitch. Trescothick and Strauss put on 21 runs before Pietersen came in... and went for a golden duck. This left Asif on a hat-trick but he could only get a dot ball. Still, great stuff. Then came the most unexpected thing I have ever seen in my career. It's the 5th over of the game and England are 22/2. In comes Owais Shah. 4 off the first ball. 4 off the second ball, which just so happens to be a no ball. 4 off the third ball. 4 off the fourth ball. 4 off the fifth ball. 2 off the sixth ball, yay not a 4! Then 4 off the seventh ball. That's 28 runs off one over! Absolutely incredible stuff. Shah soon went after a 61 run partnership, notching a remarkable 46 off 18. Strauss then stayed in for a little while, only to see Vaughan get ran out, then for himself to get out. With the score 86/5 and England looking in turmoil, it was the turn of Flintoff and Prior. A 60 run partnership was only ended when Flintoff went for 32 but they both contributed brilliantly. Giles and Davies didn't last long as England managed 161/7. Prior making 32*. Asif the only bowler worth mention, getting a great 4-28.

It was then our turn to bat and we chased their score easily. A 52 opening stand was broken went Fawad Alam hit a shot straight at Pietersen of Davies bowling, as he went for 22 off 19. A 72 second partnership then came around as Yousuf and Inzi took it to the bowlers. Yousuf then went as Inzi carried on battling. 38 off 33 the score for Yousuf. Khan and Inzi then held on and battled all the way to the last overs to get us the victory, by 8 wickets. 20* off 14 was needed by Younis Khan but Inzi's 81 off 52 was a life saver. Inzi has just secured his spot for the next few matches me thinks, a brilliant innings from our captain.

A superb victory, that was very easy in the end. Superb bowling in the middle spell by Razzaq, Afridi and Kaneria. Arafat and Razzaq finished things off which meant we had a pretty low target to chase. A quick start saw that run rate drop considerably. Inzi was superb as usual and Yousuf continued the fine form from the warm-up game with 44. Misbah came in and blasted 27* to secure the win with 21.3 overs to spare!

Reaction
Well we ended up losing the toss on a batting pitch, so there I was dreading that I would have to bowl first. Then came a surprise and England elected to field first. Fair enough. A decent 42 opening partnership set our innings off to a good start before Alam went for a mere 18 runs, whom wasn't supposed to be opening but I forgot to change the order! The second partnership then gave us our runs as Inzi and Yousuf batted together to put on 181. Inzi then fell after getting his century. Great knock. Then only 2 small parnterships before the end of the 50 overs as Yousuf ended the innings on 99*. So close! 251 the target for England. Good score.

It was then the turn of England. Their first two Partnerships got them to 90/2 as Strauss and Trescothick both fell. Pietersen then fell straight away as Shah came in, who batted incredibly well in the twenty20. Shah and Vaughan put on 37 before Shah went for a disappointing school. No more partnerships could muster and only a few cameos from Flintoff(39) and Giles(30) could booster their score to 228. Another win, another great start to a series.

Another fine win. Good bowling in the first 30 overs, but we just didn't finish it off. Sidebottom, Harmison and Hoggard gave them a slim chance of victory. We batted pretty well on a bowlers wicket. A few run outs made it look closer than it was and we won with ease. Afridi was good with the bat and Arafat and Razzaq bowled superbly.

Reaction
Winning the toss on a pitch which favoured the spin a tiny bit sent us in good stead as we took a two-nil lead in the series. We bowled first and bowled superbly, with Asif getting both of the openers. It was all plain sailing all the way through apart from one small obstacle. It didn't turn out to be too small though. Kevin Pietersen hit a great knock of 55 of 110 balls and carried the entire England innings. The only man to shine. Nazir and Afridi destroyed the bowling attack but Asif(2-29) and Kaneria(1-13) also did their bit. Ahmed once again was disappointing.

Then it was our turn to bat. We put on an average opening stand, thanks mainly to Alam as he went for a nice score of 23. By that time Inzi was only 4*! Inzi and Yousuf then put on a 53 second wicket partnership before Inzi fell for 22, one short of his opening partner. Khan came and went as he seems destined to fail this series, like Ahmed. Yousuf and Afridi then brought us home with many many overs to spare. Afridi's little score of 16* helped our battle to get 115 but Yousuf's 44* was the main fight. Unlucky for Mohammad to get just short of his half century.

England are all over the place now. A seamers wicket which suited us tremendously. Asif was awesome and the others backed him up. Pietersen batted well for them but nobody else. We batted very quickly and won with 32 overs to spare. Iqbal and Inzi were superb and Afridi finished things off with a few boundaries. We take an unsailable 3-0 lead!

Reaction
Won the toss on basically the same pitch, chose to bowl first again. We started well as England lost their first few wickets cheaply, with Kevin Pietersen only making 6 this time. They found themselves 19/3 until a 57 run partnership between Trescothick and Vaughan brought them back into the game. Flintoff came and went, then in came Prior. Trescothick had batted with the top and middle order but could bat no more and got out for 70 runs to Afridi. Prior then stayed in to make 29 before the tail collapsed. A poor score from England, albeit better than the last ODI. Nazir's 4-23 and Afridi's 2-25 were the main individual's to keep us in the game.

Once again we batted second. With the top and middle order failing, we ended up on 96/6! We required around 75 runs with 4 wickets in hand. Younis Khan had to give a brilliant innings. Younis stayed in for a while longer with Nazir before Younis fell for 39. The score now was 122/7. Still possible. An incredible and very unlikely 45 run 8th wicket partnership took us home before Nazir got out. Nazir and Akhtar batted superbly and out of their skin, which they shouldn't have to do. Nazir eventually got out for 21. Great performance with the bat and ball by him.

A good win for Pakistan there. A bit tight in the end but well played Shahid Nazir and fantastic batting from Akhtar! :hpraise
