Reaction
Well we finished off the tour in some style. The poor English fans had to watch as we destroyed them for almost 75 overs. A fine batting performance to reach 303, despite being bowled out. Iqbal was superb, and Razzaq chipped in with a nice 61 also. Then we just turned up the heat even more in the second innings. We did leak a few runs, but our openers were tight and Afridi was his usual exuberant self, grabbing 5 wickets. A series whitewash away from home. Not a bad start, hey?

I thought you ended all your other stories :p.

Dominated England totally. Afridi was top class.

Reaction
An easy win but it took us a while longer than we wanted to ge the win. We bowled first and were it not for a few batsmen such as Flintoff and Bell then we would of had a much easier win. Nazir got the most important wickets and the joint most with getting 3 wickets, the wickets of Trescothick, Pietersen and Prior. Akhtar however got the same figures and got Strauss, Bell and Vaughan out so they were both fantastic.

The batting was relentless as we only had 2 batsmen out. Inzi opened with Alam before Alam fell soon and then Yousuf fell shortly after. Khan came in and steadied the ship which allowed Inzi enough time to bat how he wanted to and get the runs. None of the England bowlers could tame our batsmen as we cruised to an easy victory to seal the series as a whitewash.

Wouldn't call this a story. All I have to do is post a few words and that's it :p

More of a competition, that I am currently losing.

After the first tour the standings look like this:
Jaztheman 1
Treva 0

More of a diary to be honest, an awesome one at that. ;)

Yeah I'm currently winning but I'm not too good against the West Indies so you could beat me here. Good luck mate.

Easy win for Jaz there except it took a while to reach the score. Inzi and Khan were great, as they are.

Reaction
We chose to bowl first on a batting pitch and it showed. We bowled quite terribly in the first innings with only Afridi deciding to take the wickets. Afridi managed to get 6 expensive wickets but Asif did assist him a little bit I guess getting 3-106. Ahmed opened the bowling and was terrible managing 1-133. Aftab was disappointing on his debut with a mind-blowing 0-92. Lara, Sarwan, Baugh and Hinds just carried the West Indies batting lineup to a fantastic 504.

It was then our turn to bat. On Tariq's debut, it didn't start well. He got a 10 ball duck and then a few quick wickets made it look very bleak for us. A fantastic partnership from Khan(138) and Yousuf(144) helped us on to a better score but it wouldn't of been as high if Afridi(36) and Niazi(31*) batted with the tail as well. None of their bowlers were very effective although Nurse was a pain in the arse.

It was then our turn to bowl and the best bowlers for us changed a little bit. Asif bowled tremendously to get 4-61 off his 22 overs but was assisted very well from Ahmed who got 3-42 at 2 runs an over. A very good economical innings from him. Afridi got another 2 wickets but was once again a little expensive. Aftab again, was wicketless. Lara and Gayle were the only batsmen to really strike for Windies.

Then it was our turn to chase and try to get 306 to win. We started terribly with Tariq getting his second duck of his debut as he has the worst debut ever heard of. Butt soon followed only managing 9 runs as we found ourselves on 12/2. Khan came and made a good score of 36 before getting out when he was looking promising. Yousuf(13) and Alam(13) didn't stick around with Inzi who was still battling on. Afridi made a quickfire 26 but it was the debutant Niazi who shined. 58* from 38 helped win us the game but Inzi's 138* from 197 was the main contribute. As long as we can bowl better with our full bowling attack with Danish Kaneria and Akhtar, then we are going to be an unstoppable force.

Well a brilliant start to the series, our fourth test win on the trott. Younis Khan returned to the starting line-up after missing out on the tour to England, and boy did he make himself known. A brilliant performance in both innings, bagging himself MotM.

We were put under pressure early by Gayle, but we responded brilliantly by taking 10 wickets for 184 runs. Gayle played superbly, but nobody could stay with him. Akhtar threatened and Razzaq took wickets in his first over of a new spell twice.

In reply, we were solid. We took our time to get going, but Younis was superb in timing his innings. He and Misbah were superb, both looked in fine touch. Arafat finally hit a good innings with the bat, getting our lead up over 100.

They batted much better 2nd time around, but we kept it tight and managed to give ourselves a relatively low target to chase down. Their middle order was brilliant, but again Razzaq was up to the task. I expected our spinners to do more damage on a 3rd and 4th day old pitch in Pakistan, but our pacemen made up for it. Arafat also chipped in with 3 wickets, to conclude a fine match for the all-rounders.

We made our target with ease, again Khan looked in fine touch. Yousuf also hit a steady half century, and we cruised home with 7 wickets remaining. Things look good for the rest of the series.

I enjoyed reading this, it's quick and straight to the point with no waffle, though some of the team lineups are a bit strange (Inzamam opening the batting? Jeez, if you are going to do weird stuff like that then why not give him a bowl? He is actually a pretty useful bowler so maybe you should try it.).

Anyway, I enjoyed it, it's inspired me to try something similar and actually try sticking with a game of ICC for more than one or two matches.

I would like to start off saying how well we played for 4 days. Our first innings was superb, and despite our bowling in their 1st innings, we had the game in the bag. We got enough with the bat second time around to feel safe, only for our bowlers to gift them a win.

Needing over 100 runs to win with 3 wickets left seemed a stroll in the park, and yet somehow we managed to muck it up. Even when they needed 39 to win with the solitary wicket to get, it seemed comfortable. Credit must go to Nurse and Lawson for putting up one hell of a fight, but it was very poor from our bowlers.

The next test will see us field a whole new bowling attack, with a few debutants being given a go. No excuses, a crap performance!

I enjoyed reading this, it's quick and straight to the point with no waffle, though some of the team lineups are a bit strange (Inzamam opening the batting? Cheers mate, good to hear your comments. Inzi opening saw Jaz win the game, hitting 111* ;) Please continue to read, and continue posting :)
