Good updates, I have to own up to silently following this, one thing though, I would add a picture to catch the eye, just the text is a bit plain.

But the idea is super unique and I can't wait for more updates

I think that text only has done perfectly well for them,I'm thinking of starting a story kind of like this one.
Don't know when yet, maybe when I've got someone to do it with,I think that's something I'll need.
Right?:laugh

We lost the toss and West Indies decided to bat first. Gayle started them off well with a good score of 47 but Ganga couldn't stay with him. Lara came in and continued his fantastic tour as he batted with the middle order, but no-one could stay in with him. He finally went for 111 of 184 but there was another century to come. Dwayne Bravo overtook Lara's score and hit 121 as he batted with the tail. A tale of two batsmen I think it is fair to say. Riaz Afridi was sensational with the ball managing 4-37 whilst none of the other bowlers really stepped up.

It was then our chance to bat, which we did, but rather slowly. We ended up with 583 runs after 208 overs. We had the best of starts, being 376/0 at one stage. Two quick wickets, Tariq(187) and Khan(173), saw the score look worse but we were definitely in control. Niazi came and went, only managing 5. Inzi didn't last long either with his 29 before Shahid Afridi came and went for a mere 4 runs. Alam made a sensational 94 batting with Nisar(29) before the tail skittled out, with us getting 583 in total.

It was then their turn to bat again and this time their top order prevailed. Gayle was great again but failed to get his half century again. He got 47 in the first innings and 49 in the second! Ganga and Lara then had a brilliant partnership of 141 before Ganga got caught for 95. Chanderpaul and Lara then had a great partnership aswell as West Indies took control. Chanderpaul finally going for 76 runs. Lara was as good as he was in his prime. Sarwan and Hinds, both went for less than 5 runs before West Indies declared for 407/5. Shahid Afridi was the only bowler to do well, getting 3-137 which although expensively, was the only person getting the wickets.

We only had to knock out the overs to get a draw and we did just that. Tariq and Khan played very well together before Khan went shortly after getting his half century. Inzimam Ul-Haq and Tariq then batted out the rest of the overs as we settle for a draw. We only ended 50 runs from the target score. Some great batting though kept us in it.

I HATE RAIN!

We batted superbly on a good pitch. Butt was superb, and it was good to see Afridi finally get a good score in this series. Akmal also hit a good knock, finally. Razzaq scored a good 60 to round off a good innings for the all-rounders.

We were good with the ball also, still on a pretty good pitch. Rain interupted much of the middle days leaving us a day to bowl out West Indies for another time. Around 6 hours of rain and 15 mins of bad light meant we could only draw. E-akbar was superb, coming in for only his 6th test match. He took 6 wickets, and gave it his all despite knowing we couldn't win on day 5.

Overall a disappointing test series. We should have won 3-0, but poor bowling and rain has cost us. I will be looking for a much better ODI series, something similar to what we did in England.

Absolutely gutted, but that's cricket. That F.E-akbar did very well, he had to if he was replacing Akhtar.

After a shocking display by Pakistan, I really don't feel they deserve four paragraphs written about them. They batted poorly and bowled even worse. Only Kaneria bowled well and got fantastic figures in the first innings but had no backup and help. Tariq was the main batsman but none of the batsmen were particularly good and consistent. This means we have drawn the Test series 1-1 after what was a terrible series for us. We were diabolical in this Test.

What a game to start the series off. First of all, I would like to say that our batsmen were shambolic. We were destroyed for the first 20 overs of the game. But thanks to two brilliant knocks from Afridi and Razzaq we got a respectable score. Despite making 261, I felt it was a below par score on a wicket that favoured the batsmen heavily.

In reply the started well but lost frequent wickets. They kept up at the rate thanks to a great Sarwan 78. They needed 51 from the last 10 overs, which soon wittled down to 27 from 5. That became 21 from 4 with 5 wickets in hand. The 'in batsmen' Hinds was dismissed, leaving Bravo and Baugh at the crease. It soon became 18 from 3 and it looking more like a Windies victory. They picked up 5 off the over, needing 13 from 12 balls. What followed was a superb over from Razzaq, conceeding just 3 runs and picking up the wicket of Baugh in the process. It left the two big hitters Bravo and Smith needing 10 from 6. The first 3 balls saw singles. After a close lbw appeal they needed 7 off 2. They could only manage a single meaning it was 6 to win. A fine cut shot whistled to the boundary but it wasn't enough.

Razzaq and E-akbar bowled superbly in the last 10 overs, not to mention Arafat's opening spell, in which he bowled out. A fine win in one of the best games of the modern era.

We lost the toss yet again and were told we would be bowling first on a complete batting track. We started the innings wonderfully with Gayle and Ganga both going quite cheaply, leaving them on 39/2. In came Chanderpaul and he only lasted a while making a 30 ball 23. It was then their main partnership as Brian Lara and Ramnaresh Sarwan took it to our bowlers. They put on a partnership of 218 before Sarwan got bowled by Akhtar for a magnificent 82 off 97. There was only a little while left and Lara took West Indies home as he finished up with 148* off 119. He has been their out and out best player by far in this tour.

So there we were. Chasing 309 in 50 overs. I didn't hold much hope and just went all out for it. I watched on as Tariq and Khan started smashing the bowlers everywhere. They had done so well and survived, that on the 25th over we were 185/0! Tariq got out straight after with the score on 186/0 but he knocked a magnificent 108 off 86 deliveries which pretty much secures the opening spot for him in the upcoming matches. Younis Khan and Inzi then had a great partnership of 76 before Inzi fell for 39 off 46, but we were still on course to win. Afridi was moved up the order but could only manage a short stint of 15 off 7. Yousuf and Khan then fired us home with 6 and a half overs to spare! It's not every day you see a team chase 310 down in 43.3 overs! Kudos to the lads, great batting performance.

Another test match Treva :p. That E-akbar was a great call up! Him and Razzaq won the game.

Khan was quality for James. To chase a target higher than 300 is very impressive. I'm sure you'll be disappointed with the bowling though.

Very. The bowling for my team is just terrible at the moment. Any people I call up do terrible. Asif getting injured didn't really help matters but hopefully we can turn the corner and get them out for under 300 at least once this series. ;)

Cheers for the comment, Mani.
