The ball in which Yusuf got out tells all about the pitch.

deepuparayil added 4 Minutes and 10 Seconds later...

I think we need some aggression in our bowling like Malinga,Lee,Bond etc.Ishant is meant to be an aggressive bowler, but now he is noway near that.I like to see Sreesanth in our lineup just for his aggressiveness.

is this the same pitch? same ground that you guys were complaining about?

Jayasuriya!! you still got it old man!!

Nah they played this on a new one. And surprise surprise. First innings, batting easy as. Second innings when the lights came on etc. it was a minefield.

this is exactly what sachin told about the toss deciding the match outcome 70% of the time !

and thats why we should use Sachin's 4 inn. or we should just stop complaining about "batting 2nd is hard"

i am pretty sure India will come back and win the Final..

India were so poor in the field it wasn't funny. Dhoni's captaincy was all over the pace to, some of his bowling changes were a little?

But once Sri Lanka made 250 the game was over.

We had played the same team that is playing now against NZ and not even one day has gone by. We're already in the final. There was no point in playing the same team again! So why not give more chances to the likes of Kohli/Nayar, etc. You can very well be assured that they won't be playing the final. And who knows, Kohli might not be in SAF for the champions trophy. Pathetic from the Indian team management.

Or maybe we should just not play D/N games here?

Mathews was brilliant. He didn't do anything extroardinary just bowled some beautiful balls and bambbozled the Indian batsmen. His performance resembled that of Mendis when he got 6/13. They had no clue. Great work Sri Lanka.

Well,I do not think that international matches should be allowed to be played on such a pitch, which changes completely under lights. This is just not fair to the team batting second, especially to India who played back to back matches, which is not a joke. :noway

From what I saw Mathews was getting it to seam off the pitch, I don't believe the night conditions would cause that.
