And is he a specific commentator of a particular channel? I will change it if he does not comment for other channels..
He is very much the registered trademark of ESPN Star Sports. Thats where his career started, and thats where he has been ever since, doing a pretty good job if you ask me.

i agree with u sai sri lanka can make anything between 270-290

hopefully india will win

good progress so far by the lankans. hope this is not that tight a match like the first one.

Good luck for the rest of the match!

Sri Lanka plod along to 138/2 after 30 overs

Sri Lanka 147/3 - 32 overs
M.Atapattu 30 (59)
K.Sangakkara 26* (65)
M.Jayawardena 5* (5)
H.Singh 1/22 (5)
A.Kumble 1/28 (7)

Current RR: 4.6 | 20 overs remaining

Sri Lanka have reached 147/3 after 32 overs for the loss of their captain Atapattu. Atapattu was another one of those batsman who missed an arm ball from Harbhajan and found Dhoni completing his work behind the stumps. Atapattu was out for a scratchy 30.

But one thing India must be worried about now is the wickets. Sri Lanka when they reach the slog overs would throw their bat at anything then the total might zoom ahead to 270 or 280 which might make life difficult for the Indian batsman.

Sri Lanka 174/3 - 40 overs
K.Sangakkara 41*
H.Singh 1/31 (9)

Sri Lanka have been totally bogged down by India and have reached a mediocre 174/3 after 40 overs. India with their very good field placements and tight bowling have started to reign over the Sri Lankan batsmen. Jayawardena and Sangakkara are unable to score quickly. Harbhajan has bowled 9 overs for 31 runs and is the most economical bowler.

Sri Lanka's projected totals

At the current run rate (4.35): 218
At 5 runs per over: 234
At 6 runs per over: 244
At 7 runs per over: 254
At 8 runs per over: 264
At 9 runs per over: 274
At 10 runs per over: 284

Basically, Sri Lanka need to score between 9 to 10 runs an over to reach the total that they had set out for!

Kumara Sangakkara OUT - Sri Lanka 177/4

Sri Lanka 177/4 - 43 overs
K.Sangakkara 42 (94)
A.Kumble 2/32

Sangakkara was out as he tried to attack. He lofted a shot to mid on and was easily caught. Dilshan joins Jayawardena at the crease as Sri Lanka try to build a somewhat respectable total!

India restrict Sri Lanka to 235 - need 236 to win!

India restrict Sri Lanka to 235/5 - need 236 to win!

India have restricted Sri Lanka to 235 and need 236 to win this match and go 2-1 up this series. The Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly on a wicket and vindicated their captain's decision to field first on winning the toss. Kumble was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets whearas all others chipped in with useful contributions.

Sri Lanka must be totally disappointed with this performance. They have fallen at least 40 runs short of a challenging total. Now they can only hope India plays ordinary cricket as this wicket is still full of runs. Jayasuriya top scored with 48 whearas Jayawardena scored a late quickfire 44.

We will be back with the Indian innings in 10 mins. Stay tuned!

Sangakkara played way too slowly for my liking

Yes. He played too slowly and when he batted, the fielding was very good and he was denied easy runs!!

Great performance Sai to restrict Sri under 250, how is it really possible, but i am not that good at odi bowling, hats off to u mate, really problem for me starts when start the odi's in my story though, anyway u get my:clap

It depends on the patch you're playing with and some of it on your bowling.. This is the second time only that I have restricted the CPU to under 250 on Indian wickets. The last time was when Pakistan scored 220 in the first ODI of the previously concluded series!

But u really r modest buddy, i think that score is more realistic, Great work

Ha Ha.. I agree though. It is a realistic score. Lets see how I go about in my batting. Should be easy going by how I have batted so far but I wont be overconfident after what happened against Pakistan once when I chased 221 and won just by 1 wicket!

You can get the CPU bowled out for less than 250, but too make them play out the 50 overs, and yet restrict them to below 250 is really difficult.
