West Indian Tour of India, 2013: Sachin's 200th Test Appearance

I don't get it, it's India's 1st innings right? So how is that the last time we see Sachin?....

Knowing West Indies, innings defeat is strong belief which everyone has. This is fair in a way though.

Look at the score. WI made 180 odd. India are 230+ with only 3 wickets down. India will prob get 500. WI wont be able to overcome that when they bat again, and India wont have to bat again.

He was fabulous this morning .. trademark strokes. And then Sammy happened :mad

Sadness, followed by adulation. Now there is a sense of yearning ... one more opportunity in second innings. Knock the winning runs maybe. Insatiable thirst ..

Ah I didn't know how much WI made. Kind of odd that the commentators are just writing the match off already lol. Never seen that before.

It was painful, it was so emotional to see him walking him back that way. Thanks for the memories Sachin and thanks for making us proud of being an Indian.

Happy for him that his last innings was 50+ in his home.

Regardless, deserves red carpet send off for all he has done for the country. Without a doubt, a perfect role model for youngsters. Am very proud to be his fan. I just hope that he doesn't disappear from cricket scene, would love to see him as batting coach for the youth players soon.

Probably the last time Sachin makes that painful walk off the field after being dismissed, it's been an amazing journey by an unique man!

It is emotional moment for billion people... :noway

Hope he will come back in the 2nd Innings of India... Awaiting for that moment :thumbs

I wish India plays the 2nd innings. The master needs 79 runs to get to 16000 runs

Pujara is yet to show his class abroad I guess? He has good skillset & hopefully he do all solid in SA.

Dhoni has tried so many brave experiments, It would be interesting if he comes up with a declaration which would be very different context altogether.

He is in the ODI squad and so is Permaul. Narine will of course get the nod. Another noteworthy thing about the ODI squad is that we have Simmons and Charles in the side. I hope Charles does not get injured. We need him to don the keeper's gloves in all three matches.

That's the thing don't,, Charles or Simmons keeping in ODI/T20s is not a feasable long term strategy. Charles was noticeably scoring less after the windies started using him as keeper.

If the do still use Charles, why pick Ramdin you wonder. This is where Chadwick Walton deserved a run in the limited overs formats.
