West Indies in Australia

Symonds won't be dropped as they won't use 2 spinners and 2 pacemen at Adelaide that is asking for trouble.

Lara is looking good, but Stuey hasn't come on yet. Warne will be more deadly on the 4th day pitch.

Ponting is too scared to bring MacGill on while Lara is at the crease.

The biggest problem for Lara would probably be at the other end. Let's hope he doesn't run out of partners, or cop a shocking LBW decision :p

Nah, I think he's just working on strategic principle. McGrath and Warne are the most likely to get Lara out, whereas MacGill is more than a match for the other batsmen. No need to throw all your force at the one guy, when half will do.

Well its not like Aus had a long time to bowl in the 2nd inns. I'm sure if Lara is still there MacGill will be brought on. You can't keep a class spinner away just cause there is a class batsmen.

Hope Lara makes 100*. Kinda feel sorry for this guy. He had a few dodgy dismissals which were not out but also looks very weak against Lee.

Warne gets the wicket of Lara. Thats the big one Aus needed. WI were looking good although not scoring at a fast rate. It also looked that Lara was getting back in form as the ball before the wicket he hit a cover drive to the fence which was the best shot he played all series.

Unlucky Lara once again. I felt there was no bat in that as it clipped the back pad. Another one which goes against Lara.

It was a tight one, a faint nick at best.

Warne gets Samuels as well. The commentators said he was looking shakey after Lara got out and I have to agree. He just didn't look the same once Lara got out. He could have got our back pad earlier too.

Will Ponting be fined for running and appealing for the back pad catch? It doesn't look good since the officials want to stop this.

well ponting deserve it and i would say shane warne as well. Both always appeal as if it always have to be there way. But i doubt ponting will be fined.

Well Warne less so given he is entitled to appeal, but Ponting ran up to the umpire and I remember a few years ago an Aus player was fined for doing this.

Good batting by bravo and ramdin. Look like two great players of the future for the windies. Yeah Lara was ripped off again, 3 out of 4 times in australia now. At least he walked away and didn't sulk like some other batsmens.
