Geez, man, open your eyes! They would only have needed to bat out the first session today to make this game a true contest. Just pick one or two of the bad umpire decisions for the Windies, reverse them and you probably would have pushed their innings into that.Sando said:And perhaps the first 60 overs they bowled, you, know, the 60 overs where they took about 0/260..... Good effort by the Windies, but all this talk of 'well, if you take out their first innings, and half of the Aussie innings.... the Windies are ahead of the game.'
I mean seriously, that is totally irrelevant. It's like saying in an NBA match 'yeah, the Lakers were outscored 50- 80 in the first half, but they won the third quater 25 - 20! Are the West Indies so far from Test standard that sporadic periods of competitiveness have to be praised as so highly?
I reckon Symonds is the outside chance, Bracken will probably come in.Shadow007 said:Langer will come in as a straight swap for Clarke and Bracken to carry the drinks again.
