West Indies in England 2009

Does anyone else find it incredibly annoying that Channel Five don't repeat their highlights package? 90% of the days the test matches are on I am not in so I never get to see it!

Well bowled Stuart Broad. Dinesh Ramdin gone, good delivery, shaped in and took out the off-stump. Finally the breakthrough. Now to mop up the tail.

Shame that Ramdin had to fall just before Tea but he and Nash put up a good fight. Hopefully Taylor can put up some runs with Nash and at least make this thing respectable. Swann has dismissed Chanders a good number of times he faced him but I back Chanders to come back strong in the 2nd test.

Lol, Benn completely done by the one that goes straight on made him a bit silly tbh he was nowhere near it.

Should be over by today unless Nash can hog the strike for the day.

Broad picks up Edwards, good delivery. Be gutted for Nash if he doesn't make it to 3 figures and fails to get his name on that honours board.

Broad who's been crap all through gets the tailender to bring his average down to 39.5.

England need 32 runs to win this match. They should do it within 5 overs or so.

No he hasn't. Have you watched the game? Broad's bowled alot of very, very good deliveries that didn't produce wickets. He's improving game in game out and deserved those tail-end wickets after bowling consistently decently throughout the Test.

Good win that. To finish a side off in 3 days is a real turning point for England. Finally showing the killer instinct we'll need to beat Australia. The England team under Moores would have allowed more than just Nash to get away. Harmison would have played, as would Panesar, and we'd not have got those 20 wickets so quickly. Good signs for England, and hopefully we'll be able to hammer them at Durham as well, to win back the trophy. Knew we were a better side than West Indies ;)

Broad is nowhere near test class. I can see Hughes smacking his lips in anticipation for Broad.

Well done to England but I'm slightly concerned about the fact I have tickets for days 3 and 4 at Chester-le-street!

Durham's up north though Colin so I reckon a bit of rain might be about over the course of days 1 and 2.

Yeah lay off broad you twerp, he's so hot he almost made me bi.

Durham's down south in fact (!) and the east tends to be drier than the west regardless of latitude in Britain. Anyhow depends on the pitch really.
