I reckon Pietersen could be out of the Ashes ya know. Achilles are nastly little injuries. When I did mine it it set me back the best part of 6 months. Painful too.

I don't think there is anything wrong with him. There would be too much of an uproar if the ECB said he was having a rest and missing England matches after going to the IPL so they probably made up an injury. I saw him cycling away on the bike in the dressing room on the last day of the Test match.

Not sure I agree with that personally. I hate his technique, so ugly. I'd much rather watch a Sehwag, Hayden, Warner, McCullum, Ryder or a Gilchrist, far more stylish than Gayle. Some of Gayle's big hits are lovely to watch, especially the straight hits, but the majority are all ugly looking hacks. He's incredibly effective and clearly has alot of natural talent and hand-eye co-ordination, but I wouldn't describe him as a joy to watch personally.
