West Indies in India Nov 2011/12

Was it a good move to recall Irfan in the Indian squad?

Apparently both KP and someone else over Twitter are backing Sachin to do it at home. How hilarious would a pair be haha

It indeed would be very exciting if Sachin gets his 100th 100 against Australia but getting it against West Indies in this series well might be better. Well, that's because whether Tendulkar admits it or not, we all know that this is a crucial record and there is immense pressure on Tendulkar from the fans to make this record as soon as possible. I want Tendulkar to go to Australia with a free mind so that there is no pressure on him about this record and he can play his normal game.

Tendulkar is pressured up heavily because of this 100th ton. I want him to get it here and get it over with. I wish he goes to Australia with a more clearer frame of mind. What better than getting the 100th ton in front of the home crowd? Due to the ticket price slash, I guess Mumbai is going to have better crowds this time than Delhi and Eden Gardens. So Sachin hopefully should get it here and move on.

Varun Aaron makes his debut here in Mumbai in place of Umesh Yadav. I thought Yadav could have played an additional game after his 7 wkt haul last match. But nonetheless, it will be exciting to see how Aaron goes. Kohli as expected gets the No.6 spot. But the big news is, Chanderpaul and Roach are not playing. Must be a huge blow for WI. If they struggle in the first session, they could be bowled out for peanuts considering that Chanderpaul is not there.

I just hope they dont play Ishant in the ODI's. He should get rest and his ankle should not be overworked (there is some issue with his ankle). With the series in the pocket, we could have had two rookie fast bowlers against a team that struggles despite Chanderpaul.

Aaron has started to generate some pace now. In his last over he was hovering around 140 and this over he has been consistently around 145. Clocked 147KMPH on previous ball. Lets see how much he can crank up :spy

Well Done Windies, the only team to score 2 century partnership for first wicket this year

After 12 tests:

Brian Lara:
Inns: 20
Runs: 941
AVG: 47.05

Darren Bravo:
Inns: 22
Runs: 941
AVG: 47.05

I am really pissed on the Mumbai curator, he has just ruined the fun of playing on home advantage. Look at England they made sure they would prepare the greenest pitch when it comes for India to play, so green that pitch and grass would not be differentiated and they won 4-0. :p We needed a 3-0 which is still very much possible but this pitch looks dead flat and I am seriously pissed at him :mad

Sachin's birthday is on April 24th. So it would be nice if his 100th hundred comes on the 24th....November 24th though...not April 24th :p
