So finally WI will have to chase 192,Req RR:9.20,9 wickets fell in less than 9 overs for NZ...They would have got to 200-220 if they dint loose those many wickets...almost every over they lost 1 wicket...

Good score, should have been 220 odd but nevertheless. Not a bad job for a side with only 5 batsmen. Had a lot of handy bowlers who can bat but still, only 5 batters.

WI were hilarious in the field. The Marshall catch was a beauty though, similar catch to the Sinclair one except this was a 2 hander and not quite so horizontal. Ramdin is a horrible keeper. What was wrong with Baugh? He kept well (though batted stupidly)

We've got this. A total this size means Gayle will need someone to bat with.

Ryder and McCullum sealed it for New Zealand. And with Gayle gone so early, it was for sure that New Zealand would win the second Twenty20.

Patel just got two wickets in the last over of the match. Double wicket maiden for him.

The result:

New Zealand 191/9 (20/20 ov)
West Indies 155/7 (20.0/20 ov)

New Zealand won by 36 runs

Anyway, both Twenty20's were probably fun to watch. I am expecting the ODI's will be close as well.

Ryder and McCullum should be given jointly the Man of the Match award.

Finally we win a Twenty/20

Good performance except once Ryder and McCullum got out. They love this ground, they pummeled England for a 10 wicket win last time they batted there. Good to see both in some good form.

WI need to improve on their fielding. 50 overs of that would result in a lot of extras. It was bad enough in that game. 21 extras in 20 overs is appalling. And then add the overthrows, dropped catches and misfields.
