Your Cricket What Pace can you Face

Question is who can face me bowling raher than me facing. Well honestly I have been openor on occasions due to my Rahul Dravid like dead batting. No pace can rattle me.

Speed above 140 is playable in a much easier way

You need 3 things-

1-Footwork
2-Timing
3-Main Concentration

The ball has the speed and if you just give it a flick with a good timing you're done and rewarded

(Bearing in mind I'm still a junior) I've faced 75MPH in a match and 80MPH with the bowling machine.

At times. But these days, you hardly ever find a good spinner. They are getting toppled, and easier and easier to play. You just come down the pitch and try to get to them on the full, and their flight won't effect you at all. The spin has no effect at all if you can get to it on the full, or at least on the half volley.

I am a great player of spin, and prefer to play it over pace.

Who doesn't prefer spin over pace, spin in juniors is the best for a lower order batsmen. The spin in juniors is pretty much slow pace, and you can launch it anywhere.

ah not true lol if u go to a top spinner he will rip you in half even at junior level. i faced a spinner he had fast bowling action like mendis but he will spin the ball any direction and it spun big time i couldnt read him so i did get out but at least made 40 odd runs but i was proud that i made 40lol cuz my whole team got all out for 83 runs he took 8for 17 lol

Well that was from my experience, I guess if you go to sri lankan clubs, their spinners will be better than their pace

lol he came from sri lanka and was new to canada but dam the best spinner in the league he owned me bad all i did was try to defend and get to the pitch of the ball but then one kept low and spun way more lol stumped

LOL, from what I heard from my friends in India, this guy put the bowling machine on short and 145kmph, He got one at around chest height, blocked it way to early and it was an inside edge right into the box

faced a guy bowling about 130 - 135 kph before and survived that, then got out at the other end to the slow guy... have also faced someone who felt even quicker, not sure how much but first ball cannoned into my stomach and second my stumps, damn dodgy pitch.

I can face the U17 seamers pretty good, but the seniors are a bit too much for me.

I'm not naming a speed because there is no possible way to tell from eyesight alone.

I've played against two NZ under 19 bowlers, Verma and Matheison. They bowl at around 130-135 kmph, I opened against Matheison and he really only had real good bounce. I only faced Verma for a couple of overs, he was abit quicker but had alot of control.

I play 16 B's and last year (same grade) we had a guy who was late 110's km/h when on song but sprayed if he got to fast. I got a seem mark on the side of my leg from him but unfortunately it wore off
