- If he isn't really bowling a yorker length, just a very full one;
- Not putting the stumps that far into the ground;
- Using stumps with a very short spike;
- Stumps are being placed in the same holes and the ground is extremely loose.
Sorry I didn't make myself clear in that I should have said that I think it's very unlikely for the stump to come flying out of the ground from a yorker length and the only way I could possibly see it happening was due to one or more of those scenarios occurring. I haven't even entertained the thought of a cartwheel effect as I just can't see there being enough momentum to make a stump cartwheel fully unless its hit above the centre of it's gravity.rickyp said:he said cartwheel though, which would be impossible for a yorker, regardless of your facts.
