Ok stop it...this is for peoples fastest deliveries and not Sajid Mahmood.

you can prove all you want but if your not producing the goods you dont deserve a spot in the team the scary thing is australias worst bowler during the ashes averaged better than englands best

no... no it doesnt....
The only way I can see that he's able to do it on a consistent basis is:
  1. If he isn't really bowling a yorker length, just a very full one;
  2. Not putting the stumps that far into the ground;
  3. Using stumps with a very short spike;
  4. Stumps are being placed in the same holes and the ground is extremely loose.
However, if he is prepared to sort a video out, showing the stumps being placed in etc then I'll give him the benefit.

I bowl 124 kph i don't know how much that is in mph but as a 16 yr old im proud of it :D

he said cartwheel though, which would be impossible for a yorker, regardless of your facts. (I still agree though, but they wouldnt help a cartwheel)

Sorry I didn't make myself clear in that I should have said that I think it's very unlikely for the stump to come flying out of the ground from a yorker length and the only way I could possibly see it happening was due to one or more of those scenarios occurring. I haven't even entertained the thought of a cartwheel effect as I just can't see there being enough momentum to make a stump cartwheel fully unless its hit above the centre of it's gravity.

However, I suppose it depends on his definition of 'cartwheel'. If the stump was placed very loosely in the ground and he managed to hit it right at the base then the stump may turn 90 degrees, maybe slightly more if it bounces the 'correct' way. This may be enough to fool somebody into thinking that they can cartwheel a stump from a yorker.

When I get a chance I might set up some stumps with a bowling machine and see what happens.

My fastest delivery was around 162kph. It broke the stumps in half. By the way, I'm 15. Is that fast for my age? :rolleyes:
