Decent start. need more than 300. sehwag needs to keep it cool and he can get his 100 easily. Bd spinners are bownling fine and i dont understand that how come neither chawla nor ashwin is playing for us.

Look at our entire line up. We do have Yusuf and Yuvraj who can bowl decently. Adding another spinner just cause the pitch is turning doesn't really seem tempting.
Had it been Kumble, well then it would have made sense.

IMO yusuf is not in same league as chawla or ashwin. munaf could have been sacrificed for anyone of those 2. nevertheless if we keep going like this it wont matter who bowls.

dew makes it harder for fast bowlers to hold onto the ball as well. I'd probably rather a spinner in that situation. india will win, their batsmen to come are too good and Bangla's bowlers are not able to deal with them if they are going to play well. 300 is easy from here.

but it's turning quite a bit out there, bangla have another 30 overs of spin they can send down. India will be bowling with a get ball on a pitch offering turn and only have half as many spin options as bangla have. I don't really see why they picked munaf and sreesanth on this pitch.

It's definitely harder for the spinner as they need a firm grip to get their spin, usually will see them bowling more full tosses than normal.

The most pro- Tendulkar commentary that I have heard in a long long time. Manjrekar and Gavaskar are talking of Tendulkar as if he ought to still have been in there and its all Sehwag's fault.

Gavaskar really gets on my nerves when he worships Tendulkar like that. I noticed it when he began to outright insult Dravid over Tendulkar. Manjrekar is still bearable.

Well, you have 3 big hitters yet to come. These two should last atleast 10-12 more overs adding around 80 odd runs. That way, when the likes of Yusuf, Yuvraj and Dhoni turn up, they have the license to simply explode.
