This should make it clear that against big teams like Eng and SA, India needs to field 2 pacers & 2 spinners. Pacers are getting smacked all over the park.
3 pacers idea is not bad. I don't understand why Sreesanth was given the new ball ? Zak and Munaf should have taken it.
If a third seamer has to be played, play Nehra, atleast he won't go for as many runs as Sreesanth has.
Last 10 overs, BD have made a paltry 42 runs. They've slowly started to choke, to top it up it was during the PP. Now that this luxury is gone, we might very well see the tumbling of wickets.
bng obvioulsy won't chase this down but the dew won't make this easiest time. It will start having more of an effect later, last 20 overs won't be fun for india's bowlers.
They want to keep the run rate over a run a ball, but there's nothing for them in getting out. Especially if India fall into a pattern of conceding 6 singles an over and waiting for a mistake.

I agree, they've been hammered off the park, largely by a batsman that would rank as one of the best 2 or 3 in the world in these conditions. The match is lost but there is still momentum to be gained, if they make 300 it will be a good building point for their batting which is their weaker discipline.
They wasted the whole PP2 i think they had lost the game in that PP.No effort showed by Junaid and Tamim.Poor batting i feel.they didn't play according to the situation and it caused them a lot
They were never gonna chase this down so they might as well use this as just batting practice and give themselves enough time in middle against a decent bowling attack.
