2nd ODI: Australia v England at Hobart

I have just turned on the television and looked at the scores, this is a terrible start :(

Ah FMD just when Dussey looks good he gets out to that shot. Huge pressure on Marsh to play a Hussey like recovery.

Marsh really needs to play a big innings here. He needs to transfer he's 20-20 form to the 50 day form. He and White need a big partnership.

Marsh is the best batsman in Australia, he is the only one who can defend under pressure, and he has a good range of shots.
He's the best we have, you'll see.

Marsh has looked the most comfortable of the batsmen so far, White still looks troubled for mine.
I'd say if he makes runs today then we know he can bat under pressure at 6 so throw him at 3 to get Clarke and White back in their usual positions.

His form across all formats is remarkable and has been for a considerable time. All he lacks is that touch of dominance. If he'd made more hundreds in first class cricket I think he'd have gone further by now.

I'd say he should be next in line for a Test spot, maybe even take over Hughes if Katich isn't ready.

White starting to look more comfortable got a feeling he will go on for a biggie now.

Trott cops too much flak when he comes on to bowl, he's got a decent domestic one-day bowling record. As of this post, he actually has the same bowling strike-rate as Tait in domestic one-dayers (27.4). Tait has maintained his strike-rate across more matches, overs and wickets of course.

Who's he copping flak from? He's pretty much straight out the Colly mold as I see it.

Guessing hes talking about our commentators being surprised when they see Trott coming onto bowl.

Yeah, if it were an Australian with a similar bowling record they'd probably be all over about how handy of a one-day bowler he is, bringing up his stats and noting his bowling strike-rate. Not quite the same reaction for Trott.
