All Time ODI Cricket Draft <---Shravis uppp

Good pick there. Very handy batting all rounder. Shame his antics have ended up overshadowing his actual cricketing achievements (at least for me). He was a top class ODI player at his best.

Let's go Stinky. I'm on vacation right now, so I don't want to have to wait for Cricketman to come home from school tomorrow to make my pick.

For future drafts I feel we can hold rounds on MSN like Gazza said. 1 round per session. 5 minutes maximum per pick so 40 minutes in total at a time that everyone agrees to. Since there are 11 rounds, it could be done in 11 days (probably not in a row).

Nah, Draft's should remain on the message boards. Fun to look back on them.

Need to limit the people...

We would post it on the forum after the round has been held. There would be 24 hour (maybe and probably more) breaks between each MSN sessions/round.

When you're doing an all time XI with every nation involved, you need more teams. This is just an inefficient method at the moment.

Well if you can find a time where we can all get on for the next 7 nights, sure why not?

Oh and forgot to add an idea for future drafts (or even this draft if people like it):
You would have one round a day, but still posted on a thread. Instead everyone nominates a set time every day when they will make their pick. The order of picks would be determined by timezone. The tricky part there would be getting a fair draft since the man at the front of the queue will be picking first every 24 hours, so there'd need to be some tweaking of the order at some point to make it fair. That's faster than the current method, but less fair.

MSN is faster too, but harder to organise.
Current method is slow, but fair.

tbh all big drafts on this forum have moved slow. Just due to people living all over the world in diff time zones.

I do feel there are too many (inactive) people participating, though. I feel it would be much more efficient if we just started over. :\ This is a last resort option but I do think it would be better.

You're still gonna have times where there is at least 8-10 hours between picks. It's called sleep or work. Stinky can't pick now no matter how much Shravi wants him too - it was the same with KP yesterday and the same with Gazza last night.

Starting over this one won't help. What you're basically looking for is the 8 most active guys on the forum to knock over a draft in a couple of days. I think that's gonna be next to impossible to achieve. I think people (Shravi :)) need to relax and do something else rather than hoping it's your pick again every 3 hours - it's never going to happen.

When I do my Test draft only the most active members with good cricket knowledge get in.

Lol, my comment was a joke. I really don't care too much about this draft at this point. I doubt it will even finish. I've just had more free time than usual this past week (being on vacation and all), hence my posts in this thread.

Lol Cricketman subbed in for the guy who started the draft !

Damn :( I really wanted to take part but my knowledge of cricket is very limited, basically what I have read and all the matches I followed post 2006/7

Well you still let common sense prevail instead of taking favorites. I doubt you will have a side full of English dudes.
Where do you think I get my little bit of knowledge from? Reading and watching videos just like you.
