ENGLAND 2 WICKETS AWAY FROM FINISHING AUSTRALIA OFF
Australia have batted themselves into a bad position at stumps. They are 8/238, only a mere 174 in front of England, who bowled superbly. Steve Harmison was great with the ball taking 3 wickets. Michael Hussey is the only batsmen who seems to care about
turining the match around. He is 128 not out

AFTER STUMPS WRAP UP SHOW WITH MARK TAYLOR AND IAN CHAPPEL
Mark Taylor:Hello and welcome to "After Stumps" I'm Mark Taylor and alongside me is Ian Chappel. Now Ian do you think Hussey can hang on or will England finish the Aussies off?
Ian Chappel:Well thats an interseting question. I think that England will get McGrath and Tait out within 5 overs but Hussey is a very good player but I think England will go onto win this game
Mark Taylor:Well we now have Kevin Pietersen in the studio. Now Kevin, congratulations on you 150, your in excellent form
Kevin Pietersen:Thanks Mark. Yes I was really happy with my innings today and I feel in great form so hopefully we can build on that and go onto win the game
Mark Taylor:So hows you team bowling at the moment?
Kevin Pietersen:Brilliantly. Hoggy and Harmy are bowling beautiful and setting us up for the win hopefully
Ian Chappel:Now do you think Vaughn will play in this sereis at all?
Kevin Pietersen:Its pretty unlikely. Michaels goal at the moment is just to try and play in the upcoming one day series
Mark Taylor:Well thanks for that Kevin. We now have Stave Waugh to analyse Australias performance today. Now Steve Australia struggled today didn't they
Steve Waugh:Yes they weren't at there best today. The top order crumbled and so did there middle order. The only good thing was Michael Husesy who batted brilliantly
Ian Chappel:Well what do they have to do to win?
Steve Waugh:Well obviously there not going to make a big score so when they go out and bowl they need Warne on so he can make use of the last day pitch
Mark Taylor:Thanks for that Steve. We will see you next time on "After Stumps"
England only need 181 runs to make the series level at 1-1 thanks to some less than average batting by the Australians. Not for the first time, the Australian top order crumbled under the pressure of the England bowlers. Steve Harmison was the best of the bolwers taking 5 wickets and Michael Hussey was best with the bat making 128 not out
