Another good session for Australia. After resuming 204 for 3, a bad session here could have led to the rise of an English attack. However, after losing just 1 wicket Australia have got themselves into a formidable position. Symodns was the onyl wicket to fall when he managed to top edge a hook stroek right down to Hoggard. This now leaves Australai with 2 more recognised batsmen and therefore its nto all over for England. Flintoff has taken wickets btu at a cost with him goin at just over 4 an over. However Panesar, again has looked tight and sometimes threatening.

D.Gower- Australia have got themselves into a strong position and England must be wondering when some luck will go their way.

Australia Lead by 315 runs

this has probably been aske dlike loads of times but what A.I patch you using because i want one where the batsman make big scores like Aussies have done here and do you get any edges from it?

Yet again England manage to grab just oen wicket from this session. However this wicket was Martyn who amassed eventually 131. Panesar got the breakthrough with the ball spinning fiercly out the rough, this undoubtedly made Warnes eyes light up. It seems to many people that a declaration is looming but it is further important that Englan dont just sit back and wait for one because they could find themselves alot of runs behind. Hussey has so far been the lower man of the innings but is now playign an important role. His 40 runs have come slowly but hes stayed there and he will hope to be there at the declaration.

D.Gower- The Australians are now in the driving seat. They will probably look for another 50 runs and then think about a declaration defintely, before or after Tea. It will be interesting to see how Gilchrist gets on now ith the bowling of Flintoff.

Australia Lead by 402 runs

A terrific spell by Flintoff forced the Australians into submisson. Flintoff, who finished with the figures of 5 for 137, picked up 3 wickets with in 3 overs, including the dangerous Hussey. However the first breakthrough didnt come untill Panesar manged to dismiss Gilchrist. The wicket keeper Batsmen ahd score 36 rusn ebfore he swept Panesar, and bottom edge it onto bad and then into the gloves of Read. This proved to be Read first catch of the tour. From here on, and especially after the dismissal of Hussey, there was little resistance, with Lee going for just 6 and Clark 0. Engladn now face a tough last session. They are 482 runs behidn and this picth is already showign signs of uneven bounce.

D.Gower- Some great battign from Martyn and Hussey has put Australia into a strong position. For England keeping wickets intact this afternoon is key and tommorrow they can think about the runs.

I.Botham- England needed quick wickets in this session and they got them. However the declaration was already looming and runs were on the board, it was a simply magnificant innings by Martyn, and hes a defient candidate for Man of the Match.

After losing the top three for just 7 England found themselves 10 for 3. However, after some good batting from Pitersen and Flintoff, England have began there fight back into this game. Strauss was the first wicket to fall when he was caugth at 2nd slip by Hayden. The shot, which strauss is renowned for was played poorly and the disappointment was visble with Strauss. Vaughan, whowas in doubt before the game didnt last long either and managed just 1 run before he too edge it straight to the slips. After two quick wickets it was paramount Trescothick hung around, however he too fell after a great yorker that hit him straight infront. England were now in a great deal of trouble, but Pietersen looked in tremendous touch and so did Flintoff. Together these two have added nearly 100 and undoubtedly saved Engladn from alot worse. None the less theres plenty of work left to do and Flintoff and Pietersen will be lookign for a big score.

D.Gower- Flintoff has been extremely dominant in this sessiona dn his 50 was in great time. Pietersen has loked more content to hit out but i expect a bgi score from one of them none the less.

England are 377 runs Behind

common freddy hit a big 100 and get england back in the match..
