probably India, Australia and England are the only nations he would not get picked for. And with australia and england he would be in their ODI teams, he's better than warner by a long way, and england are desperate for an attacking batsman at the top of their limited over team.

he's better than peterson for SA, Tharanga in SL, better than every opener in the whole of new zealand and pakistan, he's better than Dowlin (actually he has a better average than Gayle as well)

Also, are cricinfo speedometer things being ultra conservative or is everyone bowling really slow? Welegedara can go over 82mph, Kulasekara has rarely gotten over 80mph.

This is god awful for Pakistan. If Pakistan can beat India and Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka beat India, then the road to the final is fairly straightforward.

But if India beat Sri Lanka, then Pakistan would need to beat both India and Bangladesh, and obtain a bonus point in one of those games, and have a good enough NRR.

This bonus system crap may screw us over again, like it did in 2004

Might catch the second half of the match. Since I am watching the Bollywood movie 'Raavan' (actually the regional version) late night in theatre (will be back home only by 1:30pm or so, and the game starts at 4am). Will catch up on some sleep and watch the second half (if possible, a lil bit of the first half too if I wake up in time)
