So do you want him in the test side?Anyway.....If England has any quality batsman then i'm sure once they get in they'll have fun putting to all parts of the ground, especially with the small grounds.
Easier said that done buddy.
The Australian batting hasnt been too bad so far actually. Its been the bowling that has been disappointing. McGrath, Gillespie and Kasper have all been outpaced by the English bowlers (
), so bring Lee into the side will add variety in terms of extra pace to the bowling attack. Kasper and Gillespie are two fantastic bowlers, but I think Kasper will lose his place to Lee.
I thought the Australians batted pretty well on Sunday, and had it not been for one Mr. Harmison, they could have scored around 280-290. Hayden was looking good and it took Collingwood to produce the catch of the century to dismiss him.
As far as England are concerned, its good to have Giles back. I know he is no Warne or Murali, but believe me he is crucial to the England side. Also I dint see the point of playing Solanki at number 8 anyways. Solanki is a good batsman but there are a bit too many good batsmen for England at the moment.
So with Symonds, Lee and Giles back, I reckon another its gonna be another close encounter between the two sides.
Vaughan might not play as he is injured, which means Solanki might get another game.
My predicitons on the team lineups:
Aussies - Hayden, Gilchrist, Ponting, Martyn, Clarke, Hussey, Symonds, Hogg, Lee, Gillespie, McGrath
Pommies - Tresco, Straussy, Vaughanie/Solanki, Flintoff, Collingwood, Pieterson, Jones, Giles, Gough, Tremlett, Harmison
Result: Another England win
