KP called it right last night. England need a good half hour with the ball this morning, then need to see off the new ball when we bat. There's so much time left in this match there's no need to rush. There's no need to try and score at 4rpo, just play sensible Test match cricket. Once the ball gets 20-30 overs old the seamers become much easier to play; look at McGrath's figures yesterday morning when the ball was older compared to his on day 1. I only saw him seam the ball back in once during his spell yesterday morning.
The big factor then though will be Warney :help .( btw, what's all this balls about him having a puff back in the balcony? Sure, maybe he could have had his ciggie out of sight of the cameras, but everyone knows he smokes, so whats all the fuss? It's a good job Tuffers isn't still playing for England as between them there'd be allsorts floating around the pavilion ).
