Might as well cancel the rest of this series. No point for the teams to turn up and no point watching. Dire. Not only England's performances, but Australia's batting has been dull as sin. This series is why people are wanting to get rid of this format, and I agree with them after the first 3 games of this series, 40 overs is the way forward. Love the Pro40 competition domestically.

Australia don't really have the same quality of hitters they once did, they've turned into accumulator.

Don't blame crappy cricket on the format. The game is fine as it is, i'm tired of people messing with ODI cricket, adding stupid rules like supersubs and stuff every 2 years. It's not the 50 overs fault for crappy bowlers or batsman that can't score.

40 overs just makes it more of a batsmans game. What is a bowler to do with only 8 overs? An opening spell is 5 or 6 overs, if that is cut down to four it just makes it easier for the batsman yet again.

Have you seen a 40 over game Cricketman? They're not all batsman friendly slog-fests. 8 overs is more than enough time for a bowler. I really like the format, and the scores in the Pro40 this season have generally been the same sort of scores as these current ODi's.

And Bresnan is one horrible fatman. Why is even in the team? Why has he got 2 Test caps? Why is he such a useless man? Why is he playing instead of Rashid? Why isn't Steve Davies in the team? Why does Kevin Pietersen have to be injured?
