What is going on with the selection, why are they chopping and changing? Everyone knows you have to settle eventually.

Because the team lacks kwality, you can only pick the same players consistently if they perform and if they ain't good enough then that ain't gonna happen.

Serious questions have to be raised re selectors. Why we pick players who do ok in county cricket but obviously struggle in Tests. Who thought Teeny Bopar was a Test no 3? Who thought Robert "The Don" Key was Test class?


As for the current XI, I'd say Anderson's place has to be in serious doubt. He was conqueror of the windies but has done FA else since about 2007 in ODIs.

Prior really needs to be dropped. He's had enough chances down in numerous positions and hasn't played well in any of them.

Davies should be in in my opinion. Even Foster can get these type of scores and I'd rather have his wicketkeeping.

That's the problem with the England team and selectors, playing people out of position. You could say they tried that, but they are still looking for another Trescothick, so the search is futile. He does seem to be in two minds on his shot selection in the ODIs, which is weird, as he is pretty solid on that aspect in Test cricket.

Pretty poor decision there, never looked out in a million years. If Strauss doesn't hit a ton, the game is as good as gone, the batting is just so weak.
