Bangladesh tour of England, May-July 2010

The alarm bells are ringing for this England attack. It looks very pedestrian when the ball is not swinging.

Fair play to Tamim though. Terrfic Knock.

If this attack is struggling against Bangladesh, How are they going to take wickets in Australia?

Five bowlers to play in the next game.

^ well at least they won the entire day yesterday, usually they are only good for 2-3 session an entire match. I bet Tamim gets a big one in the 2nd innings, he wants to be on that honors board more than anyone else right now
And that's exactly what's happening

Iqbal gone now! Lets hope a collapse is looming

Absolutely breathtaking innings from Tamim, he is such an entertainer.

Bangladesh's priority should be to bat for as long as possible and get as many as they can. England will be under pressure in the final day as they wouldn't wanna draw a test against Bangladesh so if Bangladesh can manage to get a lead of around 300 then it'll be game on. Having said that, a massive collapse might take place soon.

Darn, Tamim's gone now. Forget about a lead of 300, now even a lead of 100 will be hard to get.

Wow just checked the scorecard and awesome counter attack from B-desh. Tamim in particular was awesome. Lets hope they don't collapse now.

Great stuff from Tamim. Loved his little celebration.

Bangaldesh need to string together another big partnership. Siddique has looked good recently, and Kayes is suddenly looking solid too. I would send Mahmudullah up the order though. Bangalesh's batting line-up is long, but I do think Mahmudullah is one of their better batsman at the moment, so sending him up the order would be a good thing. Probably won't happen though.

Oh dear 2 new batsmen at the crease, Finn has been brilliant in this test match so far though.

Another new opening partnership.

Previous one was back in 07, vs New Zealand, in New Zealand. 164+

Tamim and Siddique did it. Both debuted on that match. (and I did not like the fact that those 2 were playing test :D. Tamim was so ODI and immature back then)

The trouble with an exciting opener is that once they go, it's just hard to be impressed by a nuggety 100 run partnership.

Bangladesh should be eyeing a draw and its almost the end of day 4. Come on Ashraful, Shakib, Junaid, Mushfiq, Mahmudullah you can do it.

JIslam bats with Clarke's bat! He didn't have a sponsor last series when he debuted. He didn't have 1 during WU matches either. Must have got it during one of those WU matches, where he scored some runs

Stumps. Shahdat's wicket was a extra. So was Ashraful's (but its Ash, so w/e).

Can they get a lead around 250?
