Despite the defeat in three days, there was good news for Bangladesh who are optimistic skipper Shakib Al Hasan will have made a full recovery from chickenpox to play at Lord's.

Coach Jamie Siddons said: "He's much better. He bowled and batted today and walked some laps. I'm pretty confident he's pacing himself well and will definitely be putting his hand up to play.

"That's good news for us because he's an integral part of our line-up and balances our team out nicely."

Be surprised if that wasn't the XI we see at Lords. Can't see them using 5 bowlers and playing Shahzad tbh. Looking like it'll be a battle between Trott and Morgan for the place in the batting line-up when Colly comes back.

No review system? No problem as i see it. Im such a firm believer in the umpire is god on that pitch. As soon as he can be freely challenged, u loose somthing from the game. You may as well make every desision via a video camera and have no umpires. Sure they make mistakes, but who doesnt. Its funny how if you watch the 05 ashes dvd and look at some of the key wickets that wouldnt have been for england if there was the refural system in place. We proberbly wouldnt have won it at all. Dont really hear people in support of the refural system bring up those little points.
Im not against the game moving forward, but i really dont like the system.
As far as a refural system goes, i think there should be one in place for captains who choose to disrespect nations by not playing in tours so they can "rest". I would believe to captaiin your country in test cricket would be such an honour. Rest for one day games, not test matches. Just goes to show how test cricket is dieing. Thats just my opinion. Im sure those who dont agree will now tell me so in a "colourfull" way.
